On radio today, Glenn reacted to the shocking video of some Ohio teens who taped themselves joking about gang raping a young female classmate. It’s another sad illustration of how morally depraved society is truly becoming. Glenn talks about the problem and how to solve it on radio today.

Last month, the New York Times published a detailed report on an alleged gang rape in the small Ohio football town of Steubenville. Two Steubenville football players, Trent Mays and Ma’lik Richmond were arrested on Aug. 22 in connection with the alleged rape, Deadspin previously reported. Months later, exactly what happened that night is still unclear. Few witnesses have come forward to discuss what happened to the unknown girl, who alleges she was assaulted and photographed by athletes from Steubenville High.
In the newly released video, a male, identified by a number of media outlets as former Steubenville High School student and baseball player Michael Nodianos, seems to talk about an instance of rape and other disturbing events surrounding the incident.
“Now, there was a video, viral video and it’s really pretty awful. A viral video that was going around from Steubenville in Ohio. Now, Steubenville, their football team is a ‑‑ this is one of those towns that revolve, it’s like, you know, Friday night lights. It revolves around football. This is not a white issue; this is not a black issue. This is a white‑and‑black issue. This is the best possible story to point out our problems because it was blacks and whites that did it together. So it shows this is a human problem, not a race problem. This is a human problem..”

Frankly, I’m surprised the rapist even has a father (beyond a sperm donor). Something like 70% of black births are illegitimate (leftists say there’s no such thing as an illegitimate birth of course, but they admire immorality).
For many places in America, football is king. A good football player, with collegiate potential, can literally do anything and get away with it.
There are some ‘transgressions’ or ‘errors of judgement’ that simply have no defense. We have had some similar here in California. Rich and politically connected parents kept their little one’s from feeling the full wrath of the penal system. Nobody should get any pass from this type of behavior. NONE. Send them to the gray bar motel and let them see how it feels to be violated. Done. Next.

That’s definitely a major part of the problem; the MSM left and entertainment industry has been rellentlessly forcing the urban thug “bitches and hos” culture as the dominant culture for almost 30 years now, with disastrous consequences.
BTW, this rape happened in August 2012.
Another alleged rape of another young girl by the same “Rape Crew” that happened in April 2012 is now being claimed.

That is incorrect. One of the two accused rapists is white.

The article mentioned the influence of movies and music, but we need to get more specific. The investigators need to examine what kind of porn they watched. A warrant for their internet usage can give the police a good idea of what they immersed themselve in. Hollywood moves have their own problems, but I can't blame them for gang rape.
This kind of situation is why I can never support gun control. Women are at a permanent physical disadvantage in a disarmed society, and therefore are forced to depend upon the civility of society. We don't live in that kind of society, and never will. Guns cancel out men's size advantage.

FBI uniform crime stats show that black-on-white rape is epidemic and white-on-black rape is almost non-existant. Glenn Beck is so scared of being called "racist" that he is effect covering up black crime trends and constantly claiming that "race has nothing to do with it".
His desire to prove he's not a racist makes him do and say some really idiotic things.

A very small segment of the population is gay. 3 percent? Maybe? Please don’t promulgate the fantasy among homosexual “activists” that every other person has homosexual tendencies. We don’t.
As for the victim, she was drunk to the point of passing out and has no recollection of the events. There is NO physical evidence. She had showered at least once before going to the hospital eliminating any possibility of hair and even semen that may have been present.
The story speaks of penetration by the defendants fingers, constituting at least a sexual assault, but beyond eye witness accounts, which may or may not be reliable, the evidence is limited to here say and as most direct evidence seems to be deleted from cell phones and cameras.
The ‘smoking gun’ video on the Blaze is nothing more than vulgar humor on the part of a kid that may or may not have direct evidence of the actual events. The fact is that it is proof of nothing more than boorish humor.
The fact is that this type of incident is hardly surprising. A young woman goes to several drinking parties populated with the local jocks, drinks to the point of unconsciousness and ends up being assaulted and embarrassed.
This is probably a common occurrence in many communities. The difference is that in todays age gossip is now a Worldwide occurrence because of the Internet, cell phones, and Twitter.
The fact is this is exactly what parents should warn their teenagers about, particularly their daughters. Men are pigs. They are pack animals and if you are not always in control of yourself or are not with friends to add a layer of protection, bad things can and often do happen. This doesn't excuse the behavior.
As for the photo of the girl being carried. I may have several of them myself of both men a women that drunk who have never been raped or assaulted outside of having their faces drawn on with a Sharpie.
Unless they have an actual photograph of these boys sodomizing or sexually assaulting this girl they will have a very hard time convicting them. ALL the attendants eye witness testimony is suspect based ion the fact that heavy drinking was going on by all in attendance.
As for the football culture, it is no worse than the hero worship in many communities. High School Football in Massilon, Stubenville, Norton, the entire Mahoning Valley and many parts of the state of Ohio IS the culture. Outside of the High School team, not much else goes on. It is probably that way in many American towns.

Really? Are you saying the picture I posted isn't him? There are also pictures of him in his football uniform easily googleable. Sure looks white to me.
