Occupy Movement Says ‘Violence Will Be Necessary to Achieve Our Goals’

Citizen journalist Ringo captured this speaker at the Occupy Los Angeles camp a few days ago letting the cat out of the bag: After dismissing nonviolence as a dead end, he admits that for the Occupiers to achieve their goals, violence and bloodshed will be necessary:

Occupy L.A. Speaker: “One of the speakers said the solution is nonviolent movement. No, my friend. I’ll give you two examples: French Revolution, and Indian so-called Revolution.

Gandhi, Gandhi today is, with respect to all of you, Gandhi today is a tumor that the ruling class is using constantly to mislead us. French Revolution made fundamental transformation. But it was bloody.

India, the result of Gandhi, is 600 million people living in maximum poverty.

So, ultimately, the bourgeoisie won’t go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class.

Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”

Incredibly, he praises the massacres of the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror rather than Gandhi’s nonviolent philosophy.

And the crowd laps it up.

Actually, now that India has largely abandoned its socialist policies, its people are rapidly moving up from poverty.

The result of the French Revolution, besides the killing off a large segment of the population, was an empire headed by a dictator (Napoleon).

But I suppose OWS would be fine with a dictator, and a little population cleansing would be a fine bonus in their mind.

Of course, they probably assume it will be their dictator in charge when the dust finally clears, and most of those liquidated will be "others".

Apparently, the problem with all the bloody socialist revolutions that ended in dictatorships before wasn't bloody socialist revolutions - it was that the wrong people were in charge. This time, they'll get it right.

When they start the revolution they wiil come anyone with money, not lots of money just more then them, history is full of examples of the underclass murdering all those who are successful and it is what they want to do here.
