Attorney General Eric Holder made a few remarks about the massacre at Newtown, Connecticut's Sandy Hook Elementary School that should raise some eyebrows.
"As a nation I think we have to ask ourselves some hard questions. We gather too often to talk about these kinds of incidents. We need to discuss who we are as a nation, talk about the freedoms that we have, the rights that we have and how those might be used in a responsible way. But for now I think we should concentrate on dealing with the situation in Connecticut and we are doing, and I said, the best we can at the Justice Department and throughout federal law enforcement."
Mr. Holder has not been one to hide his hatred of guns. In March Breitbart News uncovered a video of Mr. Holder talking to the Woman's National Democratic Club in 1995. He wanted a campaign to "really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way" and to use anti-smoking ads as a way to "change the hearts and minds of people in Washington, DC" about guns.
In Operation Fast and Furious the ATF allowed guns to walk into the hands of Mexican drug cartels. Emails have shown officers discussing how to use these stats to enforce tougher gun control laws.

Holder needs to answer some “hard” questions, and do some “hard” time.
Let’s make Holder answer why he and Obama illegally sold guns from the US to MExican drug gangs, committing acts of war against Mexico??? 250+ Americans, federal agents, and Mexicans were killed with those guns.

the left and the media will never mention this modern parenting as they are to blame.
Lets take for instance a news media woman/guy for example.
They have kids, then hire a nanny, place the kids in day care, they get a dog walker, they get a cleaner, kids not doing too good, have the kid take some drugs.
They go out to eat most nights and party events for work etc.
Where are they spending time with THEIR KIDS?
How about eating in and showing the kid how to cook, spend time with the kid, clean up after thus showing the kid how to cook and clean up after themselves.
How about making the kids walk their own dog.
How about telling kids what is right and wrong and that ahrd work will get you rewards and we are not all equal .
How about telling boys it;s alright to get a bruise or dirty.
How about telling the kid when they fall to get up and not give the band aid and ice right away for their little boo boo[rolls eyes]
The left started with bra burnings to promote divorce , to have school teachers raise the kids with an agenda.
Once thta kid like all these shooters do is once in the real world they can;t cope, they can;t handle pressure, yes mother bought them all what they wanted, the tablet i-pad at aged 4, the play station, the TV in the room, the Blue ray movies but they never got the love and guidence kids need.
In about an hour we will sit down for dinner as we do every day, we will talk to each other.
My oldest has just cut next doors grass.
My daughter is in the kitchen with the misses learning to cook and she enjoys that.
My other boy is working on his soccer as he is now with an English club in their acadamy.
Later my boy goes to soccer, whilst my other kids are studying for their tests coming up this week.
All know how to shoot, fish etc, all are at the top in teir education, all use manners and all understand what is happening in the world.
Look at the age of these shooters.
Look at when all this crap started and then think of when the left started to destroy the traditional family.
Then look at their backgrounds, shrinks, divorce, both parents working for that Audi instead of a camry.
Look at what and how TV has changed, boys kissing boys in shows, boys acting like sissies and crying over a boo boo which no one can see.
hell I see it all the time how a boy gets a tackle, falls down cries and the parents coming running on asking if it;s broken.
They would know if it were, stop treating the kid like he;s a baby, get him up and get on with the game.
sorry for the long rant but this crap pisses me off, the left brought us this new age family and this is what we get a generation of all about them and not understanding that life isn;t fair.
How may times do we hear obama saying about fair, fair this fair that?
Those kids and people died due to a nutcase a kid which was not raised right and parents not spending time witht eir kids and teaching them life.
Gretchen Carlson said this last week after she interviewd a guy in parental guidence.
“Oh that sounds good I know what I will do witht he kids on Christmas after non now”
HUH, she did nto know what to do before a movie, she gets a day off and has to take them to the movies on Christmas day.
How about getting up, watching them open presents, teach them what Christmas is about, play with their presents with them, cook a nice dinner, clean up , yes we all hate that but it;s part of life.
What was she doing about cooking, getting others to cook, eating out,
She;s just part of the problem and though she doesn’;t admit it and still she;ll harp on about how those ovens should be different colors so boys can play with them she is like so many part of the problem
Maybe the shooter got the weapons from the Fast and Furious episode.

I agree. One thing I will say about my middle boy, THE ONE THAT DROVE ME AND THE WIFE CRAZY as we were trying to raise him. They have a girl 13 and a boy 8. They watch those two kids like a hawk and are involved in EVERYTHING both of those kids do. Everything. I wouldn’t say they keep them on a tight leash but they do have a hold of the leash and know when it needs a good yank. They are raising two great kids who are going to be great adults. They don’t go to public schools but attend an outstanding school run by a church. The school has outstanding teachers who love America. Although the school has really grown over the years, the waiting list to get a child into the school is absolutely ridiculous.
So the man who armed Mexican drug gangs now wants to disarm American citizens.

Sadly so many others do not and that is who I was pointing out.
I could give you so many examples from some neighbors kids to my kids pals and what they tell me about their parents, one girl sees a different guy in her kitchen every weekend when she wakes up, another at aged 15 could not even use a knife and fork, another comes home from the national guard as he wants free cllege at the weekend and gives the kid to his mother so he never gets to spend time with the kid.
There are so many examples so I won;t bore you or others but I think many conservatives know what the real problems are and they are not my SIG or other guns.

Of course. But I think you misunderstood what I was saying.
If someone needs urgent medical attention and is unconscious would you
(a) leave them on the sidewalk till they’ve given their informed consent for you to call an ambulance, or
(b) walk on by?
Mental health issues don’t just appear out of nowhere. In most cases there are signs and symptoms. If those are acted upon by those who can see them, then mental disturbances can be treated medically, through counselling, and so on.
Is it not the case that people can be taken to a psychiatric hospital if people are sufficiently worried about their mental state? Or do you object to that on the basis that they’ve actually got to do something that’s certifiably insane - like go on a killing spree - before anyone tries to help them?
A schizo not getting treatment and then gunning down a bunch of people before being locked up for decades or sent to death row costs society a whole lot more than a schizo getting treatment to manage their condition. Nobody’s freedom is impinged. Fewer people would die from it as well. And no gun control would be required.
Sorry Eric, but you are complicit in F&F and that just leaves you qualified for one thing.

Its a very slippery slope to embark upon depriving free citizen of their liberty on the sayso of a medical professional. I would like to believe that only legitimately
threatening people get deprived of their liberty in this way.
But in practice, governments have been known to adjudge all manner of inconvenient behavior as ‘threatening’ and therefore worthy of confinement in a facility.
I am saddened by the loss of life, and wish that other adults in the man’s life had been more careful in storing their firearms. But I’m not reading anything in the news that suggests he did anything that rises to the level of
a threat to violence that could be articulated to a judge
and a warrant for arrest issued.
This may be the price of being free, to allow the nutters
to circulate freely. I would not trade freedom from being possibly arbitrarily confined because someone else thinks I’m nuts, for security. That test needs to meet a high bar.
