[history]
After a year in which Republicans had precious little for which to be thankful, perhaps it's not surprising that party leaders and the faithful spent a good chunk of the long Thanksgiving weekend obsessing instead over 2016

The GOP is about to join the Whigs. We need an actual Tea Party to run candidates. Perhaps by 2016 things will be so F’ed up people will actually think before they vote
Perhaps
No more Bushes, none

The last time the Republicans won a presidential election without a Bush on the ticket was 1972. Purely coincidental, but sobering.

OK, then who do you want? Start thinking, because we got caught flat-footed last time and that’s why we ended up with Romney.
Find a real, honest to goodness candidate, work for him or her, and get ready for 2016.

Exit polls 2012: Voters blame George W. Bush
Even after 4 years of bumbling Obama, over half of the voters still blame GWB for the bad economy.
The Bush name is tainted.
Let Jeb run and get it out of his system. He won't even make it through the primaries. The only way he will get to the Oval Office as an invited guest.

I’ve sworn the same thing in the past until Obama came along! He was an exception to that rule and after this loss it just re-inforces why we should never support a Rino.
Now that we have 4 more years of pure hell to endure, I refuse to vote for another republican unless they are CONSERVATIVE.

No it doesn’t...
What are the odds that the Bush family could produce the best candidate for president - a third time?
Zero — so that means there are other forces promoting Jeb.
America cannot stand to have a political ruling class. Jeb as a candidate for president would show that the political class has taken hold.

Bush in ‘88,Perot in ‘92,(I apologize for that one...),Dole in ‘96,Bush in ‘00,Bush in ‘04,McCain in ‘08,and Romney in ‘12...
Me too. We must be the same age or around the same age. I voted for Bush I in 1988 and 1992. Dole in 96, Bush II in 00 and 04, McCain in 08 and Romney in 12....not a really good choice ever.
