Did the cuckolded husband of Paula Broadwell send a letter to a New York Times advice column back in July that revealed he knew of her affair with David Petraeus?
That intriguing possibility has been raised after canny observers dug out the July 13th edition of Chuck Klosterman's 'The Ethicist' and pointed to extraordinary coincidences between one readers letter and the now scandalous love tryst.
Writing about a deepening relationship he knew his wife was having with a 'government executive' whose job 'is seen worldwide as a demonstration of American leadership' the anonymous man offers up what could be considered in hindsight as striking information.

Seems like Gen Petraeus has been really occupied lately.
It’s kind of scary, sounds like he’s almost stalking her.
Washington is a snake pit of corruption and debauchery. This man’s letter could have been written by many spouses both male and female.
I thought she broke off the affair prior to September 2011. Wasn’t this letter to the NYT more recent?
Heck, it could have been planted by the WH.
May God heal his justifiable fury and his broken heart, and mend the marriage. What a tragedy for everyone.

While Mr. Petraeus was still a general, he had email exchanges with the woman, but there wasn’t a physical relationship, the person said. The affair began after Mr. Petraeus retired from the Army in August 2011 and ended months ago, the person said.

Ahhhhhh....lthe Democrats and their belief in “The Higher Calling”. Everything that happens in a Democrat administration is OK because they answer to “A Higher Calling”. This lover of this letter writer’s wife was answering to the higher calling of screwing his wife. The Obama administration answers to the higher calling of putting money in their pockets.
Look at the photos of this woman. Does she appear to be a timid wallflower? Oh, buddy, there are some women who have to be the center of attention everywhere they go. You married one.
He must have had a very steamy and hottest affair with her her the night before he passed out at a CONgressional hearing. When the brain travels down to the groin area, you get totally lost!!!

Broadwell will be questioned extensively by the FBI, CIA, DIA and the State Department then released only to have a fatal car crash on the way back home...

I wonder if she had broken up with Petraeus by then and was currently in the middle of recieving thousands of e-mails.
That whole push-up thing with the husband was kind of creepy.

Timeline is total barbara streisand. Seems like a fairy tale concocted to avoid a court martial.
I simple “i hereby resign for personal reasons” seems as if it would have been enough. Maybe Petraeus was asked to make the admission in his resignation letter as part of an agreement not to be court-marshalled...
She also received a "congratulations on your accomplishment" from Fluke.
Naw...nailing her is only half of the story.
Petreaus is their target. We need Ollie North to look into this.
