Funny, i was just reading this article 3 minutes ago.

I was reading this in an other article:

“At some point after Petraeus was sworn in as CIA director on Sept. 6, 2011, the woman broke up with him. However, Petraeus continued to pursue her, sending her thousands of emails over the last several months, raising even more questions about his judgment”

Seems like Gen Petraeus has been really occupied lately.
It’s kind of scary, sounds like he’s almost stalking her.

He must have had a very steamy and hottest affair with her her the night before he passed out at a CONgressional hearing. When the brain travels down to the groin area, you get totally lost!!!

Was he using Viagra???

I simple “i hereby resign for personal reasons” seems as if it would have been enough. Maybe Petraeus was asked to make the admission in his resignation letter as part of an agreement not to be court-marshalled...

Dumb letter by hubby, if it was written by hubby.

You can divorce your spouse for any or no reason.

Just go up to her and say, “look, I know you are banging General Viagrs. I want out. I won’t make a big deal and expose either of you. I just want out. Sign here.”

If she chooses to fight you, she might publicly reveal the information. Hubby doesn’t have to.

He could easily divorce his wife without exposing Petraeus.

The letter doesn’t make sense.

Maybe Petraeus realized too late that he had been played by the woman, that the woman had used him to write her story and was now scared that she would write a tell all.

The NYT has confirmed that Broadwell did not write this letter. What were the odds that it was? It sounded like something college students would dream up -- or maybe something one bureaucrat wrote to discredit another.
