JUST HOW FAR ARE WE WILLING TO GO?

I SAY, LETS JUMP OFF THE CLIFF!

I know, I remember what our Mothers told us about, If your idiot friend jumped off the Cliff, would you follow? As it turned out she was mostly right, but not always, not NOW, not this time.. I'm suggesting that our Mothers are sometimes just flat out wrong.. Most women, Not your Mother of course, but at least 56% of women elected Obama, twice, so they aren't always right..

This is the real truth telling moment in our Nation's present and future.. We were handed our collective ASS in this debacle of an election.. The Liberals put it all on the line to get this man back into the White House to finish what he started, and what the Liberals/Communists started almost a century ago..

THE REAL PROBLEM!

We are weakened because we didn't stop the thief of this process when we allowed all of those cute sounding seemingly innocuous rule changing election laws, Motor Voter, Absentee Voting, Early Voting, and Extending Hours..

We spread out the security protection and limited the oversight of the one thing that insures that this great nation is a Nation of Laws, dictated by WE The People, and placed the Elected Representative form of governance in the hands of corruptible politicians and influential unelected bureaucrats..

We lost because we follow the laws, and they don't..

We are at the mercy of the will of the people.. We believe that TRUTH will out.. That our ideas are sound and that most people will recognize what will hurt them, and that they will stop policies that are wrong will become obvious, and that those expounding wrongheaded laws will be shunned in the next election..

That dog no longer hunts.. Much of what is wrong with this country is it's people! I could spend the next ten days giving examples of why the people do what they do, but you are as aware of those problems as I am.. Education, Immigration, Entitlements, yada, yada, yada..

THE SOLUTION IS HERE NOW!

I am a problem solver, not a brainiac, or a prognosticator, or even smart.. I live in a real world, and started businesses that succeeded, lots of them.. When I decided years ago, whether I should go to college, I checked my reality, and recognized that I was poor, so I started out as an Entrepreneur..

I like most of you look at life and respond with the cards that we are dealt.. First lesson is that when you see that something being done is wrong, STOP IT! When someone is Bleeding, STOP THE BLEEDING, Fast..

Almost all of our problems in this country is from spending.. We allowed the spending to get way out of control, and we put into law, spending that has become so endemic that we are at a lose to stop it.. NOT TRUE!

If we STOP THE MONEY, it all has to stop, right? That too is NOT TRUE! We have all learned to borrow, and most of us also learned that it can, and often gets out of control..

THE FISCAL CLIFF IS THE TOURNIQUET OF GOVERNMENT!

All of the elements of what is wrong with the Government is coming together at the same time.. YES, THAT IS TRUE! It stops the flow of money at once.. It also stops the borrowing if the congress has not given it the authority to raise the DEBT LIMIT! BINGO, everything has to change if that happens.. Government has to trim, drastically reduce spending, eliminate programs, or SHUT DOWN!

We all agree that the politicians, Forget about US, will not allow their jobs to stop paying THEM! But we also know that few if any will put their own career on the line for something so noble as saving our Country.. But we just learned a lesson, that we will never win another election now that the Liberals have all of the strings in place to steal every election in the future..

We do not have any other power but to stop something from happening, not move any legislation that will encumber the left from their power.. If we can convince our fat cat politicians that in 2 short years that we will kick their asses out of the cushy seats they might, just might, decide to take the gamble and SHUT IT DOWN, if only to save their own butt..

What if they shut it all down, it's a stretch, but what if? The Markets will tank, for a shot time only.. Banks will threaten to shut down under the RUN ON THE BANK theory.. Hundreds of thousands of government employees are going to start getting pink slips, and foreign markets begin to crumble their own weight, without us to prop them up.. Your own paychecks may be in jeopardy..

HOW MUCH ARE YOU WILLING TO RISK..?????

With only the House in the Congress, and the Obamites controlling the other two law making powers, we can’t correct anything that will improve our prospects for the future..

We also know that just playing the defense, will make us the scapegoats in the eyes of the voting public, and the reason for a continuing decline of our economy..

We should also recognize that Obama will continue to impose laws, disguised as Executive orders, to continue his diabolical march to compete Socialism.. Lowering the Middle class toward poverty, and getting them to accept reducing their standards to Government subsistence, we grow deeper into irrelevance..

Shortly, they won’t need to resort to cheating to win, the takers will be so disenfranchised they’ll vote to keep their perks coming in..

The only alliterative is to take the HIT now, while we are early in this cycle to stop this plan by cutting of the funds that they need to stay on course into our oblivion..

With this culture’s short term memory, thanks to their own plans, we can hope that they will be reeling from the collapse, and recovery, that we won’t loose too bad in two years..

One thing is certain, if we force a reduction in the government machine they too will loose their advantage, and the course will have to get better for the future..

I'm of another mind, Carlo. I want all Republican Congresscritters and Senators to vote 'Present' on ALL legislation - EVERYTHING, that's proposed by the Demoncrats from now until the 2014 elections, if we have any elections, that is.

Make the democrats responsible for ALL their goofy ideas!

By doing this, debt will explode, and our world-wide-system will collapse into a world-wide Depression.

If we just try to shut down the gummint by not voting for the funds that they need to stay on course into our oblivion, we cut off SS checks, Veterans Benefits, etc, and the $hit still hits the fan in a year or so anyway.

We are both saying the same thing Gonz, but yours, although a much less dramatic, may come later than a couple of years of borrowing and imbedded restrictions, it may become unrecoverable.. As the Left is spending us into the abyss, the general public will be getting more and more perks, that once introduced, become irremovable..

I don’t disagree with you, I’ve got a few apprehensions about allowing this gang to find ways of digging us so deep into the financial, and restrictive holes as the public feeling things are working fine, it may be too late..

Ok, let me give you an example of why I am so dug in with my paranoia.. In the early 70’s when I was just trotting along with a fast growing business, I tried to introduce a bonus plan for my employees..

At the time we were still small enough that all of my locations were local, meaning in Texas, most in Houston, so we held an annual meeting.. At one of the meeting I asked if the group wanted an annual bonus, dependent on profits, or a tenured raise.. I explained that we had planned expansions and that would bring in much more revenue, but major expenses, and RISKS..

The vote was almost unanimous, except for the accounting dept.. They chose the BONUSES.. Well, bring on Carter, and gas lines, and high interest rates and slower economy, so the bonuses were reduced to a fraction of the past.. They almost walked off the job, and none of them were happy..

I discovered that once you give someone a gift, and they learn to expect it, even though you can no longer afford it you can’t ever take it back.. NEVER!

Those that were disgruntled kept everyone stirred up until they left or were fired.. None of them improved their position by leaving, and they didn’t appreciate my position until they worked elsewhere.. I hated to fire so many, but it kept the company viable for 20 more years until I retired..

After that fiasco, I always did what was the more prudent method to set financial as well as payroll decisions..

An old saying is to think globally, and act locally. Time to prepare. Get your stores in order, logistics, commo, and do some training (i.e. physical, range, etc.).

Unfortunately, we don't have much time.

Good point. I think that the crash of 2008 was rigged by the powers behind Obama (Soros, etc.) to help him get elected. And as we saw with Storm Sandy, large disasters are seen by many as only being able to be fixed by larger government.

Although I suppose after 100 years of living under a larger and larger, and more repressive government - the sheeple would rise up. Of course it would be like the U.S.S.R. probably, and they would fall back into their old habits.
