2012 LIVE Official Recriminations Thread I
11/7/2012 | Sam PAine

Posted on 11/07/2012 4:28:34 AM PST by sam_paine

Post your "I Told You So" Vanities here!

DON'T Start the 50-millionth Vanity thread!

Find your allies on either side:

In this corner: "Romney RINO wasn't conservative enough to really win Purple PA and Ohio!"

In the other: "The Social Conservatives scared off too many Indiots!"

We can have the bile out here and leave the other threads to sincere discussion. Then the Admins can delete this later when we're all embarrassed of what we've said.

LS: ...I would suggest a more serious soul searching that tells us that this is NOT a "center right country" and not even "center left" but a LEFT WING country for now. ... Worse, we have officially lost the young

Indeed. But let us not take this news as breaking. We've been crafting these young brownshirts in the Government Schools for 40 years.

Look at it this way. This election was not a turning point that we lost. Obama is merely a reflection of these years of decay.

If it were not for Obama, some other empty chair would've arrived.

Well, I did tell people so, repeatedly. Mitt was too liberal. This is what the GOP produuces when it runs a moderate. Oh, and lest we forget - THE MITT LIST!

To win in the future will take just one thing.

We need to somehow take over the MSM.

How many people would have to pool how much $$ and brains to pull off such a thing? It’s a huge task, but it is the task at hand I’m afraid.

It is the media that is the entire problem....see my tagline.

Think about it. What would the outcome have been if an honest MSM had been dogging Obama for 4 years?

That’s part of his plan to assist the caliphate, both over there and here, and destroy America from within. His agenda continues and will now accelerate.

If it was "always about Ohio," then the GOP would have been better off blowing its collective brains out than nominating a guy whose public stance against the auto industry bailout made him such an easy target for the Democrats.

This was not a major tide-turning election at all. The GOP simply needs to figure out how to attract votes from employed taxpayers (there are still a lot of them out there, folks). Obama did well among this group in all of these swing states.

In my opinion, the road to success for any Republican candidate is to successfully pit the growing mass of working immigrants against the leeches and losers who make up a huge chunk of the Democratic base. Like him or not, this is something that George W. Bush did very well.

I AGREE with you about the takers!
They now outnumber the producers.

Hey, I jammed my finger a few weeks ago.
Wonder if I can claim disability and get a check.

Heh.

Dick Morris is like the weather man who’s always wrong. If Dick told me that it was going to be a perfect sunny day with clear blue skies in San Diego in late July, that tells me it’s actually going to be snowing with a daytime high of 22 degrees. Yes, in late July. In San Diego.

He’s finished, or at least should be.

I'm not sure, but I believe he did. I'm almost 100% certain that Romney won among seniors, but I haven't seen a comparison of the Romney vs. McCain numbers for this age group.

We’ve lost plenty of the old as well. Some of my relatives included.

“The majority of people in Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania want a Shining City on the hill, but want it paid for by someone else.”

I believe you're right. Prior to the election I had resolved that if the present outcome transpired it could only have come about because too many people are receiving a gubmint check and want to protect their slice of the pie. It appears that we have reached the tipping point and are no longer a constitutional republic but, rather, a socialist nation.

It was simple: Too many stupid, dependent people who vote.
Meanwhile conservatives are birth-controlling themselves into oblivion.

Right. This, I believe, is at the very heart and center of the matter.

but no one figured about Soros and his project to enroll each secretary of state into his "plan"....all I know is that IMO the whole thing was a fix, from day one....not only the voting machines, but the whole shebang.....

I know you feel better now. But when you actually open your eyes and look around and get used to reality you'll see that Soros didn't really have to lift a finger. The American people did his work for him.

What about Michael Barone, the EXPERT? What about Krauthammer? And Dick Morris. They all predicted a landslide!

No worries over the schools? Nothing to do with early indoctrination?

Wgat a tragedy this was. How could so many people be so stupid? Obama has been a disaster. There was nothing on offer from him, and no record to run on.

I can’t help but feel if Sandy hadn’t occured, and Romney had gone after Obama far more in the last debate it would have been different.

Other thoughts.......

Assuming no cheating went on (who knows), the Rats had a far superior GOTV campaign. We know the turnout model should have looked far different.

It would be interesting to see where both sides spent these two billion dollars. Was too much wasted by RR in states not in play?

How could so many pundits get it so wrong?

How on earth can the worlds most powerful nation have such a poor voter verification system in so many places, completely inept in comparison to even some fairly murky European/S. American countries?

And please please please can we have a ban on reporting voting trends on election day.

Hell, shut off FR during voting hours and encourage people to just get out their vote, and get their neighbours and friends out at the same time.......the reports of massive record turnout in R areas gave great hope, but in reality again assuming minimal voter fraud, it was a nonsense. Most of us here expected a RR win, so the strength of O’s performance was a great source of shock and dissapointment. At least in 08 we knew the score long before.

So I guess you’ll be supporting the Christie 2016 campaign. Good luck with that. Another guaranteed loser.

This entire election was about the haves and the have-nots, and so many more people have accepted that it’s okay to suck off your neighbors success that we will lose any close election from now on.

The democrats have gotten their wish now folks, so many people dependent on their system that weening them off of it will be next to impossible. Years ago it was just the seniors who voted in such a tight knit group over SS and Medicare, now we have EDT cards, food stamps, section 8 housing, Obamacare... the list of dependent addictions is too long to list.

I really don’t think we will ever be allowed to have another Ronald Reagan until the entire system completely crashes, the checks stop coming or the plastic is worthless and then we will truly see class warfare in this country.
