PIEDMONT, Oklahoma - A three year old gets his mom in trouble with the law when he gets a ticket from police. Now the little boy's mother will have to pay thousands of dollars for what the toddler did in their own front yard.
The toddler is being potty trained, and he wasn't near the facilities, so he unzipped.
We are told before he could pee, a Piedmont police officer stopped him. It's a bathroom break that cost mom $2,500.
We all know the saying, boys will be boys. Dillan decided to be a big boy, stop what he was doing, so he wouldn't wet his pull-up.
"Dillan pulled down his pants to pee outside, I guess and the cop pulled up and asked for my license and told me he was going to give me a ticket for public urination," said the boy's mother, Ashley Warden.

He’s 3....The cop should be watching that some faggot isn’t around the corner.
My son does this constantly. I would pity an officer who would try to ticket me.
Enough of the cops arresting little boys and girls. This is stupid beyond belief.
Time to change Chiefs of Police. And I am serious.
The cop needs his head examined.
Boortz just mentioned this item on his show and his producer, Belinda, said she is going to help the mom pay the fine.
I hope the mom takes this to court. The judge will drop the charges and lecture the cop. And the boy has a great story to tell all the rest of his life.
This cop should be fired immediately. That’s harassment, lousy judgement and abuse of power. He has no business wearing a badge. I guess they’re lucky he didn’t shoot their dog too.
They need to change the name from Piedmont to Pee Not...
Will he have to register as a Sex Offender?
Had this happen with one of ours.
Christmas day, number two in the front yard while we were loading the stuff in the car to go to grandma’s.
Good thing it wasn’t a dog peeing in the front yard.
Assuming this is the whole story, in my court: “Dismissed”, followed by a hallway conference with the officer that started something like, “What the hell were you thinkin’, officer?”
Now, the very fact that there was an officer right there to witness the “offense” tells me that this was not the first time this, or something like it, had happened. The Paul Harvey presumption virtually always applies in this kind of situation.
The officer should be fired.
Yep. And, it should be done today because today is a perfect day for firing people:-)
Please, oh please... tell me the kid was wizzing on an Obama yard sign
I would have thought that the police in Oklahoma had more sense than this. This sounds like something that would happen in a nanny-state area like where I live.
I only do this when it’s dark outside.
I come from a cop family...dad was from the ‘four-one’, Bronx(they made a pretty bad movie about it with paul newman).
that being said...cops are not around to protect you....you need to protect yourselves.
cops are around for the most part to give you speeding or HOV tickets to make money to pay their salaries so they can give you speeding tickets and HOV tickets and draw chalk lines around your already dead body....
...oh yeah....and to give your toddler a ticket for taking a leak on the front lawn..
If so, at age 3, couldn't he be acquitted due to insufficient evidence?
That cop has too much free time on his hands. Probably traumatized that poor kid.
