No one doubts Michael Barone's credentials; the guy has established himself as the pre-eminent political nuts and bolts expert in the country.
If you watch Barone on election night, you will realize he knows the politics of America down to the key individual counties in each state. His encyclopedic mind recognizes when a state's vote is trending toward one candidate or another early on, and while he is carefully not to predict a winner, he leaves the viewer with little doubt as to who is in trouble and who isn't.
But it makes me wonder when he reels off a prediction like this:
*****
Fundamentals usually prevail in American elections. That's bad news for Barack Obama. True, Americans want to think well of their presidents and many think it would be bad if Americans were perceived as rejecting the first black president.
But it's also true that most voters oppose Obama's major policies and consider unsatisfactory the very sluggish economic recovery -- Friday's jobs report showed an unemployment uptick.
Also, both national and target state polls show that independents, voters who don't identify themselves as Democrats or Republicans, break for Romney.
That might not matter if Democrats outnumbered Republicans by 39 to 32 percent, as they did in the 2008 exit poll. But just about every indicator suggests that Republicans are more enthusiastic about voting -- and about their candidate -- than they were in 2008, and Democrats are less so.
That's been apparent in early or absentee voting, in which Democrats trail their 2008 numbers in target states Virginia, Ohio, Iowa and Nevada.

I posted about this North Carolina fraud loophole the other day. That’s probably what this guy is using. They have same-day registration and voting. And they say 1000s of the people that did it in 2008 signed up with fake addresses. Nevertheless those votes were counted because that is not found out until after the vote is certified.

Krauthammer on O’Reilly last night predicted an extremely close Romney win, within .5% popular vote and a handful of EVs.
You apparently have to depress the Romney button in an exact place that will not activate the default Obama vote on some of these machines. The RNC is already on the cases of these hypersensitive voting machines acting irregularly so I can’t imagine Romney conceding on that basis. It’ll be a long and drawn out nightmare instead.
If Zero wins then yes. His legions will be emboldened. If Romney wins then no. Zero will be cast aside by blacks as a mulatto. |
What I’m hearing from my liberal friends is fear that Romney will steal the rightful election win from Obama. I won’t be surprised at all if an Obama loss results in rioting.
If that happens, it won’t be far from where I live.
I am hopeful that because of all the publicity regarding voter fraud that it may be more difficult to carry it off. Here in Iowa we now have a Republican SOS and he has said he will prosecute any poll watchers not authorized to watch. In other words, no UN poll watchers in Iowa.

So if the actual programming code INSIDE the machines is being created some place in Texas for a lot of the swing states’ machines, and sent to them, whenever - how does your SOS discover that the code in the machine sees a R vote and makes it an 0 vote - but OOPS forgets to make it still LOOK like the vote is for the ORIGINAL R vote ?!?
Thanks for the ping!

I got an anti-Morman Facebook post in my inbox this week, tying Romney to Joseph Smith, founder of Mormon faith, quoting Romney lauding Joseph Smith, then poster had a photo with negative slurs against JS. It was sick.

“It was broken due to the 98% of Black Americans who voted for this fraud due to the color of his skin.”
Welcome to every election. They vote Democrat no matter who is running.
We had Michael Barone’s article with the prediction, now we have Rick Maron’s article about Micheal Barone’s article with the prediction, when, oh when, will we have an article about Rick Maron’s article about Michael Barone’s article with the prediction?! (Say wasn’t he in the Ghostbusters? No, that was Rick Moranis, I think. He was funny. Articles about other articles ain’t!)
Yet you cannot bring yourself to vote for Romney ...for love of country.
Bump!
I dread a bamey win....I will definitely feel bitter, hateful....
I want to add too that I’ve felt a lot of bitterness to the white Americans who normally think about their vote yet decided it was “fun” to vote for the mixed race bamey....like it was game....like it didn’t mean anything....
I hear you, FRiend.
IIRC, the rats took the senate in 2004 and took both houses in 2006....in January of 2007, the price of gas was under $2/gal and the stock market was booming and housing was going gangbusters...
its the effectiveness of the rat machine to convince voters that they had nothing to do with the financial collapse...
just like now....the Rat Senate has not passed a budget in 3 yrs and nobody holds their feet to the fire...
