The excremental liberal press is boycotting coverage of this to protect Obama but Fox is covering it. Staten Island has received zero help after four days. Bloomberg has stolen three huge generators to power marathon tents and given no help to the people of Staten Island. The entire borough is a ruined disaster. No food, no water, no gasoline, the homeless wandering across the island with no shoes, no socks, injured, starving, crying for help from camera crews. People fighting one another over dumpster garbage. Death toll rising.
Another Liberal success story.
After Katrina, they had Bush to blame. In New York, there is no Republican anywhere in sight to blame. Who will they blame now? (bloomerberg is a Rino).
On Long Island, the poorer and sketchy neighborhoods are getting their power turned on first, and I have driven through some of the wealthy neighborhoods and there are no Red Cross, no power, no traffic lights - just a few National Guard driving around.
Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts. Anywhere there are busses to take them to functioning hospitals and inland.
You have to spread them out!
Go on up to Manhattan and find a few libtard 1 percenters for seasoning and fat content.
It’s true alright. My son lives on the island. Where he is they have power. He’s further inland. I have no power here in central nj so I’m listening to mytrsnsister radio at night. The calls coming in from people are frightening to listen to. This is very real. There is looting going on which is not being reported
Ok, thanks for the update.
If you are speaking of the Convention Center and Superdome in New Orleans then you are sadly mistaken and misinformed by a media reluctant to cast negative light on blacks in New Orleans misbehaving. I am from that region of the country, have been back a half dozen times since Katrina and spoken at length with my friends there including some who had loved ones in the convention center.
It was worse than reported. Ray Nagin to his credit got whites out of the convention center as soon as he could with a platoon of Guard when reports filtered out that whitey was soon to be on the menu in there.
It is the same theme as the Knoxville murders, the Wichita killings, the Little Rock blonde reporter and any other black on white race hate crime...it's squashed never to be brought up but yet James Byrd will live on forever.
As for Staten Island...who knows..I know someone on Narrows road near the VZN bridge...back in my day there SI was really safe...some riffraf down near the harbour maybe
On day 1 Bush was rescuing people..day 2 they were air dropping food and water. I watched the whole thing non stop as I was not working then.
With that in mind, their suffering and anger is only just beginning and they don't even know it yet. Their insurance companies will fight their claims every step of the way. Their elected officials will be of no help to them and to add insult to injury, when all is said and done, they will be handed astronomical increases in premiums to make up for the losses the companies had to pay to those who had the means to retain counsel and fight to have their claims paid.
In short, there's going to be a lot more anger for years to come.
"It's great that it's something, but I honestly expected maybe like a blanket," a resident said. "How long is this going to last? I mean, it's just a joke."
I have yet to see Obama swoop in and save these people.
Just how Blue is Staten Island?
Interesting. Answered my own question. Staten Island is the *ONLY* borough that was carried by McCain in 2008.
Good LUCK! The population of Manhattan alone for 2011 was 1,601,948.
0bama says cars are bad use mass transit.
Not an easy thing to do evacuate 150 miles inland on mass transit.
What I can’t believe is that lower Manhattan, below 34th, is still in the dark. My son lives in Jersey City and between 6am and midnight they won’t let you through the Lincoln Tunnel into NYC unless you have three people in the car.
I spoke to a relief worker five minutes ago, and you are absolutely correct. Their only crimiinal worry has been gas thieves with siphons.

The fox and friends weather guy described in detail what might happen if a storm of that magnitude did hit New York about 8 days ahead of time. He explained how water would be driven into the sound and harbor from opposite directions and back up with no where to go. As usual, the warning were there, and many chose to ignore it.

“Not an easy thing to do evacuate 150 miles inland on mass transit. “
None of the mass transit devotees ever deals with the issue of having large quantities of people who cannot use anything but mass transit to evacuate a city.
Reliance on mass transit should be looked as a national security issue, because it is a big one.
Start with long island. Get as many as you can. You don’t have to move them all. Any is better than none.
