On Long Island, the poorer and sketchy neighborhoods are getting their power turned on first, and I have driven through some of the wealthy neighborhoods and there are no Red Cross, no power, no traffic lights - just a few National Guard driving around.

Same thing in Rockaway. Help is beginning to arrive ... at the city's housing projects. Maybe it's a good thing ... lowers the chance of rioting. The wealthier areas on the west end, Neponsit, Belle Harbor, etc are still on their own.
