Texas Attorney General Greg Abbot sent a letter Tuesdsay warning United Nations-affiliated poll watchers that they do not have jurisdiction in the state and will, therefore, be criminally prosecuted if they attempt to interfere at Texas polling locations on Nov. 6.
The letter, addressed to Ambassador Daan Everts, came in response to the announcement that the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe will deploy scores of election monitors to the U.S. in an effort to monitor conservative groups for voter suppression or intimidation.

I live in the DFW area, voted already...
Why on earth would the UN need to send these monitors here? Do they think conservatives are uncivilized? Or is this just intimidation tactic on THEIR part....
I don’t believe in all of this global community bull$hit.
I believe in the “Leave me the HELL alone” credo.
Unless they are here for a nice vacay and plan to inject some money into our local economies, they need to GTFO.
I won't be home on election day, either. I've been out of town on business every week for the past couple of months, and it will continue at least until Thanksgiving.
Fortunately, my state has early voting, and the polls are open this Saturday and Sunday. That's on my to-do list when I get home this weekend.
Who ever gave the UN the idea that they had any power in the US to begin with? Did that wench Hillary sell us out again?
I wonder how many of the poll watchers will try to defect.
We will be footing the bill for their existance for the rest of their lives- food, shelter, medical, education, Obama phones, etc.,...
Maybe they should be deployed in the voting districts around the Atchafalaya Swamp.
hehehe
Send those boys to the hills of Tennessee and West Virginia. Or Idaho. Maybe somewhere around Dead Horse Point’s voting station. Or an Indian Res.
Some of this UN scum need Lynching.

But they can’t hang around? Right?
As long as they bring the purple ink for the voters to dip after voting, I say let ‘em come
“But they cant hang around? Right?”
Nope. Not if they are representing the United Nations. Do note, that they *can* be appointed by a political party, a candidate, or an interest group supporting/opposing a ballot initiative. Look at Post 8 on this thread to see what an individual needs to do to be a poll watcher.
Key thing is that in this case they are appointed by an interested party in the election, which is why poll watchers are permitted. But you cannot claim to be a member of the Fourth of July Party or My Own Company Party to hang around a polling place.
“In compliance with the code, U.N. poll watchers will be barred from entering polling places and must keep a distance of a minimum of 100 feet from a polling places entrance.”
Looks like that’s covered!
Not to mention hazardous duty pay...

Ditto that
