Texas Attorney General Greg Abbot sent a letter Tuesdsay warning United Nations-affiliated poll watchers that they do not have jurisdiction in the state and will, therefore, be criminally prosecuted if they attempt to interfere at Texas polling locations on Nov. 6.
The letter, addressed to Ambassador Daan Everts, came in response to the announcement that the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe will deploy scores of election monitors to the U.S. in an effort to monitor conservative groups for voter suppression or intimidation.

I LOVE GREG ABBOTT!! “Hey there, Sparky - try that in Texas and you’ll get your a@@ handed to you...”
Love it. Loveitloveitloveit.
This is an invasion by the socialist, evil, Muslim UN who is for socialist, evil, Muslim dictator Obama.
To paraphrase Mr. Abbott: “Don’t mess with Texas!”
Not good enough. They will be arrested if they step within the polling perimeter and if any talking or interfering with voters they will be arrested. Keep this trash out of Texas.
When the ICC was being considered by the U. N., it came to light that a clear majority of nations didn’t have to sign on to get it passed. In fact, leaders of nations didn’t even have to submit their plan to approve to their own legislatures first. If they wrote a letter, that was sufficient for the U. N.
Now it wants to oversee our elections?
Why do we allow those sanctimonious anti-Americans on our soil in the first place. And why are there U. S. outposts across our nation?
I object to them being here.
Greg Abbott - The next Governor of Texas!!!!
I will be an election judge in Texas (Galveston County) on Nov 6. Here are the relevant passages of the Texas Election Code (Chapter 33):
WATCHER DEFINED. In this code, “watcher” means a person appointed under this subchapter to observe the conduct of an election on behalf of a candidate, a political party, or the proponents or opponents of a measure.

Sec. 33.005. APPOINTMENT FOR ELECTION ON MEASURE. (a) In an election on a measure, watchers may be appointed by the campaign treasurer or an assistant campaign treasurer of a specific-purpose political committee that supports or opposes the measure.
I don’t see UN as a group that can appoint poll watchers. And I will (and have in the past) call the police to maintain order in my polling place, if necesary.
Oh Please Please Please I hope one of these OECD dorks does something stupid so he can be arrested.
Yes, God bless Texas, and grant American men in the other 49 states some balls!
Non-citizens aren’t even allowed in polling places here in MA. In TX ...?
This whole accusation is a crock anyway. Our election laws are far less stringent than most third-world countries. Try to vote in Mexico without an ID.
What would really be interesting is if we went to the system used in places like Iraq: your thumb is inked with an indelible purple ink. That would end absentee voting and early voting.
Then, we could concentrate on the fraud by the people that conduct the elections.
Don't hope. The communist Left is just itching to concoct a martyr and cry foul. Better to just lock them out at the front end.
Send in the Texas Rangers if the UN turds cause problems.
Here's an idea. Send these UN poll watchers to Philly. Let them watch the New Black Pampers poll watchers. And vice-versa.
Now THAT should be a helluva show!
“Non-citizens arent even allowed in polling places here in MA. In TX ...?”
The answer is yes, they can under some circumstances. A voter in Texas can receive assistance in casting their vote from any individual except an employer or a union official. Even if the assistant is not a registered voter. If a registered voter (a citizen) comes in with a foreign national to assist in casting a ballot, that individual is permitted in the polling place. The assistant must be capable of understanding and swearing to the oath of assistance, and can only mark the ballot as directed by the voter.
So let’s say you burned your fingers too badly to mark a ballot (which should teach you to mess around with Democrats). You can come into the polling place with your eight-year-old child or the child’s English nanny, and either — if they swear the oath of assistance and can read the ballot — can mark the ballot as directed by the voter.
They will need to start givng out blue helmet decals for people’s cars after the election....
HEH
and grant American men in the other 49 states some balls!
AMEN! Enough is enough. Stay away from Louisiana - anyway, we are RED!
Every state should/must set up watchdog law enforcement to make sure these interlopers get no more accommodation than any other USA citizen. I have no compunction or worry about these foreigners being put in jail for a time. It is time we stood up and told the world this is the USA and we are not servants for the internationalists.
I doubt they will bother our tiny precinct but as a judge, I would do as you say. What are they gonna do? I mean we could launch a chemical weapon and they won’t notice a thing.
