The thing that struck me as I was watching it, and still does, is his looking down all the time. Not what he said, he never really says anything interesting or new. His personality was the problem at the debate, not his practicing or lack thereof.

I remember the debates of ‘08, Obama wasn’t that bad, it may be debatable whether or not he out debated McCain but he definitely did better in ‘08 than in ‘12 and we may be certain that he will approach the next debate with a different persona.
