A prominent Ivy-League professor denounced Columbus Day and mocked those who celebrate it by releasing a list of individuals he deems are the “15 most overrated white people” on Monday.
Marc Lamont Hill, Associate Professor of English Education at Columbia University, wrote that the holiday is one of America’s “most bizarre cultural rituals” and that he finds it perplexing people “continue to praise the vicious conquistador as a hero.”
“To honor the true spirit of Columbus Day, I have created my own list of overrated white people,” he wrote in his article published on the Huffington Post.
The list includes Elvis Presley, Ronald Reagan, Babe Ruth, William Shakespeare, Tim Tebow, among others.
“Elvis didn't write his own songs (despite taking credit for them), barely played the guitar, and was a worse actor than the entire cast of Belly,” wrote Hill.

Whatever he was, he wasn’t white.
Walton was an odd choice. He played in post segregation and dominated in college and the pros. So playing before blacks played makes you overrated and paying better than blacks makes you overrated?

And a lot of them, especially those off reservations, have not forgotten. A lot of light skinned American Indians who can pass as white do so because they don't trust the government and don't want to be on a government role. It was bad once, it can be again.

I thought the discussion was on Columbus. That having been said, an Arab is either Caucasion, negroid, or mongoloid....those are their only choices....you choose whatever you decide....I choose caucasian.
