Twitchy headline says it all.
Context provided by Erick Erickson at Red State:
In his speech to the United Nations General Assembly today the President of the United States declared that the future does not belong to practicing Christians. Already, the media and the left are in full denial, probably based on their general lack of understanding of theology. This would have been a gaffe had Mitt Romney said it. But with Barack Obama, hes just speaking bold truths. His bold truth declares that the future does not belong to practicing Christians.
Pay careful attention to what he says:
"The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims. It is time to heed the words of Gandhi: Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit. Together, we must work towards a world where we are strengthened by our differences, and not defined by them. That is what America embodies, and that is the vision we will support."
Now, thats the full paragraph so no one can claim I took him out of context.
But consider this.
It is an orthodox Christian belief that Mohammed is not a prophet. Actual Christians, as opposed to many of the supposed Christians put up by the mainstream media, believe that Christ is the only way to salvation. Believing that is slandering Mohammed. Thats just a fact. If you dont believe me, you go into the MIddle East and proclaim Christ is the way, the truth, and the life and see what happens to your life.
SNIP
LOL! You already know I don’t believe anything you post.
God is the ONLY HOPE we Christians have. That's for sure! Come Lord Jesus, help US.
This is interesting...

I don't know that at all.
However; there may be others reading my posts who don't believe them either; and THEY will take the time to see if they are correct or not.
False Flag?
Dang; they are WICKED!
Almost like the MORMONs trying to lay the blame on the Ute indians for the Fancher massacre...
The future belongs to those who will one day look back at our present time and say, “what’s Islam?”
Thanks kristinn.
“The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam”
“But the Future,(If I have anything to do with it)..Will Belong to Muslims who Kill Jews and Christians at the slightest whim.”
B.H.O.
That is certainly true. Both are centralized socialist tyrannies with absolutely no freedom for the individual.
All those dictators in there are laughing at the lightweight Pres of USA
can you say closet MUzzie, chilrun? Yes, I knew you could.
That BO is a closet Muzzie is the elephant in the room that no on wants to talk about. This is why he does zero about the middle east because he’s happy the MB is taking over.. He and Huma have been busy-or Huma has.
The mosque he got involved in in Nashville is full of Somalis. One of the tapes they hawk there is by an Iraqi-American imam named Ali A Timimi who was involved with the recruiting of the Virginia “Paintball Cell,” as well as with the anthrax case.
The Arkansas recruiting center shooter, of Nashville TN, was also an attendee of a mosque in Columbus, Ohio:

As you note, he said the future belonged to educated women. Womeon who go to school. “Have the opportunity to go to school”. In other words, the future cannot be shaped by women who did not have the opportunity to go to school.
Words have meaning. He screwed up the meaning. He meant that the future should provide women the opportunity to go to school. But instead he said the future SHOULD be shaped by women who had opportunity, which means it should NOT be shaped by women who did not. You could argue whether men are also disqualified, or if his “women” was a subcategory of it’s own.
As for the holocaust, his claim that muslims have suffered MORE THAN ANY OTHER, means he thinks muslim suffering is greater than the suffering of the holocaust. Who has suffered more in this world, Jews or Muslims?
Although his actual claim could be interpreted as saying that muslims suffer more from muslim terrorism than anybody. Which would be true, except he wasn’t claiming there was such a thing as muslim terrorism. He has to be willing to accept that reality if he can rationally talk about it.
When I encounter a tsunami of cut and pastes that shows that the poster has no ability to be brief, that the reader’s time means nothing to them, I will not read the screed. Laboring the point is for bores.
People can honor their faith, good. But when part of that faith is the unending criticism of other religions, such as with the Islamic extremists, pride is calling the shots, not virtue. We know what’s next.
When a poster refuses to answer an overwhelming amount of evidence, and resorts to lame excuses; it means the arguement is over.
Yup; you Christians are following the WRONG Prophet all right!!
