I won’t answer these other flame posts. They are wrapped up in hate for Hussein and likely didn’t see the service. Normally, I hit the mute button if Hussein comes on the screen but today was different - that service was for the men and the families and he was not the center of attention. He was muted and respectful.

This will be the end of my posts on this thread - I’m glad I saw that service for these fine men.

While the President and Secretary of State may (and have) attended memorial services to show their respect, this was not the same. I think this was a staged event designed to give him a bump in the polls, create a photo op and provide fuel for the Sunday morning talk shows.

While Hillary may have had true feelings for Ambassador Stevens, the false sincerity of this event was so thick it could be cut with a knife. If the display today is to be taken as something serious I would expect an admission from Obama or Hillary that this was an act of war. Until they speak from their hearts about our country a staged event doesn't move me.

By the way - why the audience and where'd they get those people so fast? AND...the TV setup with the four hearses was just plain creepy!

Also why the tv coverage about the four killed but a blackout “requested” by the current administration of ramp ceremonies or other truly non-political solemn ceremonies by officials not allowed? People are asking rational questions. Do you know the difference between flaming and getting your butt handed to you? I think you are confused at the moment about proper protocol, current events, and our current foreign policy of creating some type of Islamic caliphate that started with Bush no. 1 and is blowing up in our faces right now.

I swear I heard that statement about 500 times over the past couple of days, from radio news reports (over and over during Rush's breaks) and on every news show other than Fox News', although I heard it a few times there as well, by liberals of course.

Indeed I joined on September 11th. I was meaning to join FR but kept forgetting. On 9/11 I overheard a group of people making light of what happened on that day in the most disgusting way possible. They seemed to find the images of people falling from the towers amusing.

When I got back to my computer, I went to FR and signed up. (And yes, I did tell those "people" what they should do with themselves)
