Verenice Gutierrez picks up on the subtle language of racism every day.
Take the peanut butter sandwich, a seemingly innocent example a teacher used in a lesson last school year.
What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches? says Gutierrez, principal at Harvey Scott K-8 School, a diverse school of 500 students in Northeast Portlands Cully neighborhood.

I've never understood the difference between jelly and jam with one exception--napalm is a form of jelly, and I've never heard it referred to as jam.
What about WHITE STUDENTS, who might not eat sandwiches?
Racist?
This isn’t education; it is indoctrination. Racist indoctrination.
I think I should commit “Hari Kari” because I happen to have white skin. The guilt is overwhelming. /s
Do I get extra kudos because I drive a Japanese car?
” I read the whole article and dont understand a bit of it.”

No kidding! I kept re-reading it and thought it made no sense at all. And that is sad, given that these people are educating our future decision-makers.
The Czechoslovakian nanny that took care of my daughter had never heard of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. She thought they were pretty cool. Maybe if we introduce these kids to our commonly eaten foods they won’t be so offended. What a moron. I’m so glad I home schooled.
SALT AND PEPPER ARE NEXT.
Then Ketchup and Mustard.
What about Somali or Hispanic students, who might not eat sandwiches? says Gutierrez
Portland.....What a Turd Hole.....
Well, Stupid, the next time we go to school in Somalia, or Mexico,...Well ask the little kids there...but untill then Shut your stupid Liberal GOB.
Consider "JAM" as a verb, and I think you get the picture.
She's the last person in the world who could possibly teach "critical thinking."
Fine, change "sandwich" to "dirt and stone ground corn".
Then you'll make the organic bloc happy as well as the Aztlan faction.
(Freaking madness, the kids can't spell, count, or tie shoe laces so the "professional educators" are concentrating on "the protocols of Courageous Conversations", "Big hairy audacious, goals", and "white privilege"...that'll guarantee a huge increase in rocket scientists within a semester or two.)
Never saw such a god awful mess as a peanut butter and onion sandwich.
Peanut butter and onion rocks hard!
The turd world bastards will have to pry the PBJ from my cold, dead hands! If they’re going to live here and enjoy the benefits of our civilization, they need to first adapt to and then ultimately adopt our ways. Otherwise, they should really emigrate to the cesspools created by their ancestors and their defective cultures. (I know...it’s a tiny, seemingly insignificant issue, but it’s yet another symptom of the cancer currently eating away at America.) Tolerate them yes, but no more catering to or worring about foreign cultures! All civilizations are NOT equally valid, and yes...even with the embarrassments of the last couple decades, ours was clearly the superior ON EARTH. Let’s worry about Somali and Hispanic culture when Americans are trying to sneak into Somalia or Mexico “for a better life.” Madness reigns in the government schools.
It was a mess.
Napalm is indeed in jelly form, and is used to get yourself out of a jam. “Roger that, they’re in the treeline 200 meters west of the cherry smoke - light them up, please, sir!”
Thanks for the ping!
Can we just start shooting these idiots? They are polluting our gene pool...well the non-gay ones.
What would we do without people like this principal to save us all from the insensitivity of the PB&J sandwich? Why, it is not merely a sandwich, but the true root of all evil. And let’s not even talk about cream cheese and jelly. Or grilled cheese. Or lunchmeat. Or hot dogs and hamburgers. And pizza. There’s too much variety dividing people - we need a Food Equality Amendment. Until every single American is eating the same exact food, we will never understand each other. /Sounds silly but it’s coming next... just watch. ;-)
