Tonight, the Democratic National Committee suspended the rules of the convention and inserted language regarding God and the State of Israel back to its platform. They had to vote three times to do it and they had to lie to deem it passed, even though it was clear that the measure did not pass a voice vote in the chamber. The original 2012 Democratic Party platform had excised all mention of God and Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel.

A real time transcript for the deaf would have had the following on it.
You got to rule and then you got to let them do what they gonna do.
The above sentence is how democrats talk to each other in real life. It was whispered by the women behind the Mayor de Los Angeles.
“...before the multiple votes to drill more holes in the bottom of the sinking ship, ...”
More, to Curly: “Hey Chucklehead...what the heck are you doing with that drill?”
Curley to Moe: “I’m drillin’ holes to let the water out!”
SMACK!!!!
Hey D-1, I say this...
When yer enemy is dousing himself in gasoline, the only polite thing to do is hand him a Zippo, a Bic, or a pack of matches...
The true face of this party, carefully masked for decades, is peeling off like cheap wallpaper from the walls of a French bordello...
First lady Mooch was right: this job DID reveal who he really is - and what that party really is as well.
Questions that come to mind, though are:
1. Is the country paying attention?
2. If they are paying attention, does the majority of people CARE, or has socialist and communist become less a pejorative and more the “in thing”?
We’ll see...either way.
I agree.
Sounded to me like the nays had it. Also I read, READ it was passed by a two thirds vote. Of whom the loudest yeller yellers?
Just like they trust the voters.
Wow. Looks like the teleprompter is branching out and no longer content with limiting its control over the Presidential Puppet.
So telling! And this is how the commisars, er, czars, er, leadership of the Dems would handle everything else if they were truly in charge. Shove their agenda down everyones throats.
Everyone (on our side) is being so polite, the connection isn’t really made between what Communism and Socialism are and what Obama’s policies are.
The Democrats get up there and rail (read that lie their asses off) on Republicans non-stop for three days, and the Republicans go home thinking they’ve observed ‘Miss Manner’s Rules of Politeness’, and bask in the afterglow.
If the public gets it, it’s through no fault of the Republican speakers at the convention, that’s for sure.
The Democrats are at war with us, and we’re at Tea Party with them.
Then the Republican pundits slap the Republicans on the back, and can’t figure out why they only got a four point bounce. “Perhaps our side was just too abrasive... Oh me oh my.”
Gack.

I keyed off your last comments above. I do agree with this.
Nail.....Head..... :)
The funny thing is that to me the 2nd vote sounded slightly more in favor of the “ayes”. They should have stopped the charade there since in the 3rd vote the “nays” roared back to at least pull even or even go into the lead.
LOL! Thanks. I can’t believe I saw the writing above, but not below the photo.
Next question: Where’s Waldo? ; /
Boy the guy who feeds words into that teleprompter is quick!
Slytherin vs Hufflepuff.
We need a Griffendor party.
To paraphrase Rush: “They voted against God before they voted for him”
“I guess some people choose Entitlements over Faith.”
Some people choose voting for a lesser evil over a more evil, over Faith.
