Yes, this DNC video, played during the convention, said we all belong to the government.
Out of the mouths of fools often comes what they really think.
TRANSLATION: “You be the goobermint’s biatch.”

The only way I will serve them is like revenge, cold or on a plate.
This egregiously wrong concept is being taught to your children every day in government schools. No wonder this NEA-endorsed Big Government doctrine was featured at the Democrat convention.
This is no stupid mistake on the dems part.

When DemocRATS say “government is something we all belong to”, they mean “you belong to us”. Like serfs belonged to their King.

No one else has the authority to "ordain and establish a Constitution for the United States of America."
We the Government can change the federal and state forms of government through constitutional amendments. Our elected and appointed representatives ("employees", as Clint noted) are simply part of our form of government. We the Government can change our representatives regularly (though not often enough!).

Belong to the government????? I don’t “belong” to anyone or anything. Freedom,you DIMocRATs...Freedom.
So I am once again a GI? Government Issued? When did that happen? But considering how government steals all my wealth by threats of force, I have sadly concluded that I am a serf to the government and there is very little I can do about it. But while they get all my money they do no get me, I belong to G*d, not the government.
Those with a theistic worldview know that we belong to our Creator, and derive our absolute rights from our Creator.
The left are anti-theists, not just a-theists.
The gov’t is their “god substitute”, and the people derive their rights from the arbitrary proclamations of those in power in the government.
