We have West Nile here, too. Remember the little guy who was Piper’s buddy, who had a seizure then passed away?
Come to find out, he had Encephalitis linked to West Nile. His gramma has started a Facebook page dedicated to educating the public to the dangers West Nile poses to infants and toddlers.

Good afternoon, FRiends! I just got back from the Orthopedist - the news is good. Surgery will apparently not be necessary - he set the bone and put me into a hard cast. As it turns out it was not the ankle itself - it was the Fibula at its very bottom. I have to stay off of it as much as possible but can drive and go to work.
