TAMPA, Florida | August 29, 2012: To Republicans in the RNC convention hall last night, and surely to the majority of Americans watching at home, regardless of their politics, Ann Romney came across as a warm, kind and caring woman.
But the editors of the New York Times occupy a very different universe. In a nasty piece of work this morning, editorial page editor Andrew Rosenthal painted an ugly picture of Ann Romney. Using the most violent of metaphors, Rosenthal saw a woman who, of all things, had "slipped a knife into President Obama." More after the jump.

Don’t they call that a New York Times Daisey Chain or something.
Didnt someone report that the staff there was something like 85% gay?
It was about 2 years ago, and it was about a major NY newspaper... I am getting too senile to remember details
I just watched a video of the speech and the only thing I noticed that could been interpreted as a knife to the gut was the statement that, "This man [Mitt] won't fail." So the NY Times editor thinks Comrade Zero has failed. Very perceptive of him.
The stakes are high.
What was even more illustrative was to watch mslsd's take on the convention. They were worried that we didn't mention all the benefits of big govt.enough,Chris Matthew was insane so was the big bull dyke Madcow and O'Donell. He may be the worst even worse than Matthews. O'Donnell sees racism in everything just a nut. Bottom line none of these twirps are rational. All nuts, crazed.
I'm still recovering from the same 3 beat downs, same order, received during the primaries.
However, with Ryan on the ticket and last nights convention I am now all in it to win it!
I think Ann coulter made a better point about single mothers voting for Obama- she said “How are you gonna get your child support if your ex-husband does not have a job”
THAT was slipping the knife into Obama’s campaign much more than anything Ann Romney said.
I was hoping she would have said “I have ALWAYS been proud of my country” (unlike some other first ladies)- but that would have been the only thing the libtard press would have yakked about for weeks.
According to a 2007 survey by Rasmussen Reports of public perceptions of major media outlets, 40% saw the paper as having a liberal slant, 20% no political slant and 11% believe it has a conservative slant.

Not only that.....she “stole” the supposed “war on women” from barrys commie party.
What a great First Lady to have in the White House. I’m sure she will insist upon fumigating it before they move in.
I see you're supporting the Obama campaign here in your hatred of Romney and approval of unseemly ad hominem attacks.
Lol....mega dittos!
Well, that’s their problem. Get over it, Libs.
It could be when she said “Mitt and I have a REAL marriage.”
A poster on another blog pointed out that was code for “I am not Mitt’s beard.”
I laughed out loud when I read that.
It’s more like Obama sat on the knife himself, dipstick!
Obama showed America by lies and trickery what he wanted to do...The majority has rejected it...you lose!
If I knew what the New York Times was then maybe I could have an informed decision but I never heard of them. Who are they? :)
Juan Williams Blasts Ann Romney as a ‘Corporate Wife’ on Fox News
By Matthew Balan | August 29, 2012 | 00:28
Just like his counterparts at MSNBC on Tuesday night, Fox News Channel political analyst Juan Williams thought it fit to continue forwarding the left’s main attack on Ann Romney - that she just can’t relate the average American woman. Minutes after Mrs. Romney’s RNC speech, Williams bluntly remarked that she “looked to me like a corporate wife...[T]he stories she told about struggles ah, it’s hard for me to believe. I mean, she’s a very rich woman. And I know that, and America knows that.” [audio available here; video below the jump]
Prior to joining the Times in March 1987, Rosenthal worked at the Associated Press, where he served as Moscow bureau chief. Rosenthal graduated from the University of Denver with a B.A. degree in American history in 1978. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
MSNBC’s O’Donnell Rips Ann Romney For Ignoring ‘Struggling’ Women Who Rely on Government
By Matthew Balan | August 28, 2012 | 23:26
MSNBC ‘s immediate reaction to Ann Romney’s Tuesday night speech at the Republican National Convention was to stick by the left-wing talking point that she can’t relate to ordinary Americans, especially women. Lawrence O’Donnell seconded Rachel Maddow’s claim that Mrs. Romney “has not had most women’s economic experiences,” and went further: “She began her speech...by talking about women’s struggles in this economy and in life that she, actually, in her life, doesn’t know anything about.”
Pelley Pushes Ann Romney on Whether Republicans Have Womens Best Interests at Heart?
By Brent Baker | August 28, 2012 | 20:33
A lot of women look at the Republican platform on abortion, contraception, a number of issues, CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley told Ann Romney, and ask the question whether Republicans have womens best interests at heart?
Pelleys loaded question came just after he held up his smart phone so Mrs. Romney could see how the Obama campaign is starting a tour called the Romney-Ryan: Wrong for Women tour, and thats the logo.
I think they call those guys a sheath.
