So when a hurricane hits a heavily populated area, it is no laughing matter. But some liberals are enjoying the news anyway.

Cue a million Pat Robertson/God/hurrican jokes from Democrats across the land.
I wouldn’t shed any tears if a sink hole gobbled up their entire convention so i’m not shocked they wish the same on ours.
If they're laughing they won't be two weeks from now.
This is the biggest complaint about Leftwingtards ~ they are UNABLE to think more than a couple of steps ahead. These are the guys who imagine that if they can slip past the gate they can beat the speeding train.
See how happy they are in January 2013. Marine 1 lifts off and zer0 fades into the history as a failed pResident of the White House.
Hurricanes down hit Tampa much. This hurricane has already turned west
Examiner is a blog, not news.
And you seem to be pimping it:

Both conventions are well inland within their respective states, thus minimizing their impacts had either been on the coast.
That said, let me be the first to wish, given this liberal rejoicement of mother nature on Tampa: May the wrath of a thousand tornados wreck the DNC 'rat convention. [While storm surges and wind wreck coastlines, often hurricane-induced tornadoes reign inland as the 'caine spins down]
Hurricane remnants have been known to bring flooding to the Carolina Piedmont.
Paybacks can be a be-yotch.
Just sayin’.
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such wisdom does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
This article, its premise, and the never-ending yammering of liberals and their attitudes made me think of this passage. Every time I begin to think that liberals cannot disgust me any more thoroughly, they find a way to prove me wrong. We Christians need to do a much better job of highlighting the differences in "light" and "darkness" for non-believers. There really is a stark contrast between good and evil. I pray that we as a nation return to choosing good.
FWIW, sometimes blogs break news that “real” news organizations refuse to....
Maybe this is the “real rain” Travis Bickle was talking about.
It’s who they are. Glad it’s not me
It’s who they are. Glad it’s not me
This currently looks like it will be a minor hurricane, which would not affect people inside the convention building, but will make it impossible for the Occupy crowd to be on the streets demonstrating against anything (and will blow away any tent compounds they may try to erect).
You may have a point there...isn't Drudge's report a blog? What the heck IS a blog, anyway? I never thought to ask that before.
They shouldn’t rejoice too much. If the convention has to be postponed until after theirs, they are in a disadventageos situation.
This is going to sound odd, but I am actually glad too. With Biden being in Tampa on Monday, it isn’t hard to draw a line that the Dems will be up to no good, so this hurricane will mess that up. Our base is already on a high and doesn’t need a convention to energize us.
Whatever the Dems are up to would draw attention away from anything positive that could happen at the convention anyway...
