Thought we needed this.
Yes it does—on November 6th.
I agree Rubio would have done a lot for that demographic and also helping with Florida, HOWEVER, my point was you weren’t going to please everyone and I would bet you would have a lot of angry threads here today if Rubio was the pick (due to eligibility and his stance on Amnesty).
Works for me!!!!!
i was hasty due to my excitement.
The BHO/HRC FP is not over-flowing with postive accomplishments, so that bit of her experience would be muted.
The only potential positive for them in an HRC pick would be the possibility of a Laszio moment.
It's coming.
You're one of my eligibility heroes, SB. Thanks for your many helpful contributions.
This VP selection was what I was waiting for. If Romey had given the nod to Rubio, Haley, Jindal or any other non-NBC I would have gone 3rd Party or write-in.
Best choice! If it indicates any thing about Romney's decision making capabilities, we've got a chance for Hope and Change ;~)
At an Atlas Society meeting celebrating Ayn Rand's life in 2005, Ryan said that "The reason I got involved in public service, by and large, if I had to credit one thinker, one person, it would be Ayn Rand",[25] and "I grew up reading Ayn Rand and it taught me quite a bit about who I am and what my value systems are, and what my beliefs are. Its inspired me so much that its required reading in my office for all my interns and my staff."[26] In response to criticism from Catholic leaders, in 2012 Ryan distanced himself from Rand's Objectivist philosophy, telling National Review, "I reject her philosophy. It's an atheist philosophy. It reduces human interactions down to mere contracts and it is antithetical to my worldview", and noting that his views were more aligned with those of the Roman Catholic philosopher and saint, Thomas Aquinas, than Ayn Rand. Dont give me Ayn Rand, he said in 2012.
Think of it this way. Ryan can pick one of these guys when he runs for President in 2020. After two successful terms as VP, of course.
Sorry, excitement over this choice has unleashed my imagination.
Thank you Governor Romney, I only have to plug one nostril when I vote this year.
Heh.... That is what I posted too when I was reading earlier in the thread.
If Obama is re-elected and has his SCOTUS appointments, divides and bankrupts America and runs us off a cliff, you can proudly look your grandchildren in the eye and tell them you sat this one out? Not me.
I said it last night and I'll say it again, the FIRST order of business is getting the socialist out of the White House, the fight with the RINOs comes later.

Kid Rock
Kid really sounds like Bob Seger, at least on this Song, and that is whom I thought it was when they were playing that it. I was thinking how long until Seger was going to get the cease and desist letter out.
AMEN~!
And the MasterCard situation.
Obama responds to the VP pick. “Tax cuts for the rich, rubberstamped the Bush budgets, threat to Medicare...blahblahblah. “ Krauthammer said the Republicans need to get out ahead of what Obama is saying asap so it does not stick.
which blows my mind as many doctors are just going to refuse Medicare patients with Obamacare.
Mittens needs to get 47 hundred doctors to testify to this as a way to fight the communist's attack on Ryan and wanting to scare Florida with Medicare cuts,
from barackobama.com:
“Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan: The Go Back Team”
[Let’s hope so!]
all Obama’s minions will be out tomorrow with the weak talking points and Rush will be on Monday with the audio wrap of all of them saying the same thing.. It will take a few days for them to get a coherent series of messages together so I imagine by next week, they’ll be making commercials with Ryan killing old black people and murdering dogs and such. One thing’s for sure, we will know more about Paul Ryan (true and untrue) by Monday than we’ve learned about Obama in six years.
[ And as Secretary of State, choosing her would play into the meme the Dems are already trying to generate, that Ryan has no foreign policy experience. ]
and the incompetent Obama did?
