First a little bit about CBO: I work with them every single day; very good people; great professionals. They do their jobs well. But their job is to score what is placed in front of them. And what has been placed in front of them is a bill that is fill of gimmicks and smoke and mirrors.
Now what do I mean when I say that?
First off, the bill has ten years of tax increases and ten years of Medicare cuts to pay for six years of spending. The true ten year cost when subsidies kick-in? $2.3 trillion.
The bill is full of gimmicks that more than erase the false claim of deficit reduction:

My concern as well.
The Presidential candidate should be treating Hussein like a racist imbecile, not letting the VP pick do so for him.
Nothing learned thus far from almost 4 years ago.
Ace McCain was CHOSEN TO LOSE.
Everything the media and GOP-E have done has been to try to repeat 2008.
Can Mitt lay it on as thickly as Ace did in his worshipful o-hole “concession” speech?
love it!
Now, there's the understatement of the year.
(Btw, I just visited Ft. Marcy Park last week — I had never been there, and just had to see it.)
In that video, the Kenyan looked like he had no idea WTF Ryan was talking about.
I think that is exactly the problem. He doesn’ have any idea.
I concur. I’ve been saying for a long time that Ron Paul is floating out in space somewhere *except* when it comes to fiscal and Treasury matters.
OMG..OMG..did you hear the Romney flub..bahahahah
(From 2011)
Just over a year ago, President Barack Obama singled out Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as a serious-minded Republican who could be a partner in the kind of “adult conversation” the president said he welcomes on entitlement reform.
But when Ryan stepped forward Tuesday with his long-awaited budget plan, an ambitious attempt to slice almost $6 trillion in federal spending and fundamentally alter Medicare and Medicaid, the White House rejected it. Obama brushed off a question about the plan at a brief news conference. And press secretary Jay Carney described it as flawed in approach.

IOW, Obama was lying.
He looked like a petulant, immature, little brat, seething that recess was being delayed while he was forced to look interested, not even comprehending that he was being made to look like the foolish, Kenyan idiot that he is.
Notice the middle finger itching to pop up in the video. You KNOW he was wondering if he could make it look like he was only scratching with that finger.
Lavin for Attorney General
Palin at Energy/EPA
Dims heads explode all over.
Yeah, Newt would be a great press secretary, unless Calista insisted on being on the podium beside him.
I have the distinct impression that she wants notareity and spotlight, and Newt, who seems to be somewhat PW, wants to appease her in accomplishing that lofty goal.
I think that she was one of the reasons people were reluctant to support Newt in the primaries.
But left to his own devices, he would make an excellent press secretary.
Did everyone notice the Kenyan in Chief flipping Ryan off?
I wondered the same thing. If choosing Ryan makes it appear that Romney will lose Florida( which is a real possibility now due to the seniors) and if Ryan takes too much heat and the poll numbers tank, I think Romney will replace him.
agreed
Abby something ... oh yes, Abby Normal!
This is great news. Ryan was my first choice of the potential VPs. :)
“OMG..OMG..did you hear the Romney flub..bahahahah”
The leftist freaks I know who can’t stand jokes at their master’s expense are LOVING it.
At 5:27.
The Fraud couldn’t understand a word of what Ryan was saying, but knew it wasn’t the groveling he’s used to, so couldn’t keep the finger down.
What a POS child Hussein is.
Ryan talks down to Hussein (in your FACE, Hussein) like Mitt should have been doing all along.
