Romney will announce his choice for Vice President in Norfolk, Virginia at 8:45am EST, Romney campaign spokesman Lenny Alcivar told reporters in an email this evening.
The announcement is being made at the USS Wisconsin. Its still unclear whom he will choose, but the odds that it is Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., seemed to increase when National Reviews Robert Costa noted that a charter plane flew from Boston to Ryans hometown of Janesville, Wis., today.

They do, and they knock our teeth out every time. Let’s hope Ryan can fight it.

Then why are you here? None of us like the situation, but actively campaigning to have us stay home is just like campaigning for Odummy. So which is it, do you really want to get rid of Obama, or are you trying to persuade others to follow you so you won't feel like your the only idiot out there. Believe me there are plenty of selfish, spoiled little children that will follow without much effort. Stop pouting, suck it up and help bring America back.

Nothing is bad about him. He’s conservative, smart, and articulate. Some people are just afraid the left will hammer us over the head because he wants to fix Medicare and Social Security. Who cares! The left is going to try to beat us over the head with it anyway, we might as well have someone smart and articulate to stand him to them.

Picking Ryan draws a bright line between the left and right ideology here and where this country is going.

Ryan is the best choice if the election is about the economy, jobs, the national debt, and trillion dollar deficits. Ryan is the most knowledgeable and articulate Rep on fiscal issues and the economy. The time for competence and a real discussion of the issues is now. We are well past the pandering stage. This country is in dire straits. We have only a few years to get things right.
If the choice is Ryan, it demonstrates to me that Romney is serious about addressing the perils that confront this nation.

Packer Fan? Well I guess I gotta go with Rubio.Doesn't matter who you "gotta go with". It's Romney's choice. Unless you're saying you won't vote the top of the ticket if it's Ryan. Now, is that what you're saying?

If Hussein is re-elected and this country ends up where I think it will... how can anyone here look anyone in the eye and say “I sat that election out.” Kind of a conversation piece for your grandchildren in whatever country they happen to flee to...

The Radical Nutjob Democrats are already planning to “Palinize” him.
And why shouldn’t they, it’s worked before. And the media will just play along.

They are going to “Palinize” any nominee. The difference is Ryan’s been in DC for 20 years so he knows what’s coming his way.

Correct... and 95% of the media is essentially a campaign arm for the socialist. No getting around that... but Ryan is articulate and will slam Obamanomics everywhere he goes.
