Looks like the solar panels could use a little Windex.

You are right. Curiosity does not have Solar Panels to provide power.

Look at the tracks that the vehicle leaves behind it! Sure, give a kid the keys to a new car, and the next thing you know he's out on the street doing donuts with it.

There are places in NM just like that. And having flown over Nevada, I am pretty sure there are a few places there too.

Nothing wrong with those techniques. Most of their shots were within a fraction of an inch—without laser theodolites or handheld calculators or GPS.

14 minute delay at 150,000,000 million miles. Now just a bleepin second. The Sun is only 93 million miles away.

Look at the tracks that the vehicle leaves behind it!It leaves a damn mess with all those track marks. The environmentalists would have a fit if you tried that in a desert area in the United States. Where are the Occupy Mars protesters? Who will save the planet?

You can zoom in and follow the tracks all the way back to the horizon. Check it out. Could that be the lander way off in the distance?

I confess I read that at some blog site that was complaining about the late NBC coverage of the Olympics. Never bothered to check distance of Mars - I think the blogger was just frustrated over the six hour delay when it’s only fourteen minutes from Mars. - research says it’s like 36 million. The conversion is 57,936,384 km. so I guess he was joking.
