If you're participating in Chick-Fil-A appreciation day, please take a moment to post your experiences today here!
Thanks for your report. As an ex-North County resident, I was wondering how San Diego County would react. I hope someone reports on the North County locations, too.
Backfire Wendy's =(
Our CFA SW of Houston was packed!! The lines were wrapped around the building, inside and out!!
Mom just gave me a report about the Dublin Ohio(Sawmill Rd.) location. Someone came in and bought everyone who was in the store their meals. About 200 people.
Once everyone found out, they broke out singing God Bless America. Doesn’t get any better than that.
Same old tired tricks from the left....why am I not surprised?
Here’s the original Huckabee interview with Mr. Cathy that comes up nearby on Youtube - pretty good.

Amazing what started as a very simple suggestion by Huckabee, and one that I don’t think he thought would turn into such a huge thing.
“So if you happen to see record sales that day - remember it started here.” he said with a chuckle.
Huckabee probably saw it on FR a week ago and invited Mr. Cathy on his show

Line at noon at Frederick MD location was so long we turned around. Came back a few hours later and the drive-through was still packed and there were no parking spaces. Parked at Target and walked over. There must have been over 200 people packed in that little building. They were taking orders and then calling out names when food was ready.
The place was loud but, everyone was polite and we got our food more quickly than the 12 minute wait projection we received.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
"Hundreds of people coming from miles around to buy chicken sandwiches and waffle fries in support of Chick-fil-A turned the chicken chains Orland Park restaurant into a giant gathering for advocates of free speech and traditional marriage Wednesday."
Loverly.
Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers location packed outside and in. Had trouble getting in and out, but was worth it.
I was surprised at how quick and efficiently the employees were getting the orders out. Despite the crowds, my order was near instant.
Also, I was reminded why I had started going there long before it was “cool.” Great food, excellent service in a clean and friendly environment.
“I do not live near a Chik Fil A so I purchased about $300 of items from their website... http://shopchick-fil-a.com/default.aspx?act=catalog.aspx&Category=Clothing&browse=&MenuGroup=Home
We need to stand up for God proudly and loudly!”

I don’t live near one either, so thanks for the link!
Hey! food is an event for Texans, not a meal.
My coworkers were unable to buy their planned lunch at 11:45, because the streets were backed up over two blocks, police were directing traffic, and a news crew was on site.
They said they would try for dinner. I think the store will have run out of food by then....
Oceanside, CA, Marron at College just south of Hwy 78.
Arrived 10:15 AM with she who must be obeyed. Can’t remember her ever in a fast-food place. Maybe drive by to bring something home for me.
Lot’s of folks from Cavalry Chapel, her church. The minister mentioned the day and said he was a friend of someone in the owner/family.
Only 1 cashier and he said he didn’t know about the day. Huh?
Line starts out the door about 10:30. About 20 cars in the drive thru.
I’ve been there at 10 AM and can usually drive right up to the service window and order there. So it’s a big difference.
People polite and courteous.
Servers as usually nice and polite. Helpful.
We left about 11:10. 35 or so cars in the drive thru going into the larger parking lot.
About 25 people lined up outside the door.
Friend called at 2 PM. cars backed up for two blocks to bottom of freeway offramp. Took him 45 minutes to get into the CFA parking lot drive thru lane
Big day for Oside.
I’ll go back Friday and bring home a bunch.
I passed two in High Point, NC that were jammed, thought I’d swing by another on S. Main in Kernersville instead but it was jammed worse, during my hour commute home. I left the office at five. A lot of evening spillover from people who just couldn’t do it during lunch while at work, apparently.
It’s amazing how God is using a chicken sandwitch...........
PS three employees showed up at 11, I assume regular lunch shift. Don’t know if all employees will work the rest of the day.
