In the last 48 hours, I have received emails from representatives of the Democratic Party with the following subject lines: “nightmare,” “disaster” and “Romney defeats Obama?” Which is, of course, the nightmare and the disaster. Those headlines give you a pretty good idea of what the Democrats are seeing in their internal polling.

I got a letter from the DNC asking me for MONEY ! ! ! !
It had a picture of O’bumhole in a sad, thoughtful pose.
I sent a carefully worded and courteous reply requesting that they

The Dims complain about the Koch brothers. But they have Soros, the Tides Foundation, Al Waleed, and all that Hollywood money.

Bert, I’m not trying to be a jerk or to make you look bad. Just so you know, the term you use is actually “hara-kiri”. The “hara” is our core, our gut or belly; “kiri” means “to cut” or “cutting”. Hara-kiri (also known as “seppuku”) was a ritual method of death by disembowelment for Japanese samurai who were shamed or sentenced to death. A samurai often required help from someone who would finish the job by beheading him after his ritual cut.
I still haven’t figured out the significance of the “$3.00” request in EVERY ONE of their solicitations.
What is that all about?
It’s ok ...... As always, the issue is brought before the world in truth on Free Republic.
One thing most Americans understand, despite having been dumbed down for decades, is that the economy is in bad shape and is getting worse. All those abstractions about liberty, freedoms and responsible governance don’t resonate with a whole lot of people but economic pain gets their attention every time. And that’s what terrifies the Dems. Their pals in the MSM may be able to manipulate the news but they can’t hide the realities of widespread financial distress that most Americans feel.
Truth be told I have used pre-paid envelopes to send say 50 pennies which probably costs them a $1.00 or more to receive much less process and deposit ... just trying to help. ;-)

I think it’s because they know that almost all of “Holder’s people” can afford $3.00; so they want every dime they can get.
Øbozo has long boasted that his campaign funds come from “The common man” rather than corporate “fat cats”. It’s not a complete lie (because of the $3 contributions), but it is an effective one for leftist minimal “thinkers”.
