Bert, I’m not trying to be a jerk or to make you look bad. Just so you know, the term you use is actually “hara-kiri”. The “hara” is our core, our gut or belly; “kiri” means “to cut” or “cutting”. Hara-kiri (also known as “seppuku”) was a ritual method of death by disembowelment for Japanese samurai who were shamed or sentenced to death. A samurai often required help from someone who would finish the job by beheading him after his ritual cut.
