Sources tell FOX31 Denver reporter Justin Joseph that a second man is now a person-of-interest in the Aurora theater shooting investigation. We are not disclosing his identity because he has not been charged.
Twelve people were killed and 58 injured early Friday when James Egan Holmes allegedly opened fire inside the crowded theater.
Neighbors of the person of interest say for the past two days there have been SWAT team and police cars in their alley and unmarked cars in street.
Hes been there about a year, said one neighbor.
Agents showed up again this morning.
I woke up this morning with cops still here trying to look inside his home. At 5:00 a.m. cops showed-up and asked me about (him).
Sources tell Justin Joseph someone made a call from the person of interests phone threatening violence if James Egan Holmes was not released from jail. That call prompted police to issue an alert to find and detain him.

(Easy to assume 'overlay' or connection; but need not be. . .again; 'crank calls' expected, from those mentally; 'at large'. Pathetic; there are so many. . .)
That is the only information available from news sources. One can buy vests.
13. Is it legal for civilians to buy Body Armor?
In general, yes - for law-abiding folks. A felony conviction makes possession of Body Armor illegal under federal law and in many states.
We have had civilian clients with many different civilian needs for Body Armor so we understand the need for vests for civilians. Our policy is to only sell to law-abiding adults who have a lawful purpose for Body Armor. (A parent or guardian may buy for a minor with a legitimate need.)
Residents of Connecticut are prohibited from buying Body Armor unless the sale is face to face (or unless the buyer is a police officer, Police Department, or military). We can’t ship to Connecticut, or even accept credit cards billed there...
We cannot ship to residents of Connecticut
who are not police or military.
Some states are considering new legislation to prohibit or restrict sales of Body Armor to civilians, e.g., New York. If you are in a state that passes such a law, you would be well advised to make your Body Armor purchase now before it becomes much more expensive and inconvenient, if not prohibited altogether.

Have a look at this: FBI issued warning about theater attack May 17th http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread862929/pg1

A lot of websites are talking about this situation as being a false flag event before the UN treaty signing. We are not the only ones who are suspicious of this story and this government. Some sites even identified the shooter by a muslim name and then everything changed to Holmes. My hinky meter is off the chart.
He must have converted recently.
The media probably wants to blame a white guy so they give out his birth name.
The other option is that the police originally were chasing a muslim who may have been the actual shooter. Holmes was probably the scape goat, a distraction, that’s why he gave up so easily.
Credit card.
Simple.
I agree, it is strange that the story changed so dramatically so quickly. I mean, where did they get the muslim name to begin with? The guy was arrested that same night, did he give them a wrong name? Lots of questions, and so far I am not satisfied with the answers. I understand Obama will be campaigning with the survivors some time today. I hope everyone will see through him to the truth.
Perhaps, he got the money from Eric Holder.
“How did the FBI have no clue?”
Who says they didn’t have a clue?
FBI has instigated most “terrorist attacks” in the last few years just so they can catch some witless rube to make themselves look good.
Gee, that Fast and Furious job wasn’t effective enough so we’ll try something else to whip the public into a frenzy for gun confiscation.
Yes, the guy was a nutjob but he was living on unemployment. Where did he get the money to buy all that stuff? Where did he get the “push” to do it? There are plenty of unstable people around that would just take a little nudge.
Somethings going on here.
What did he do after, just hang out somewhere and wait for the cops to come and BEAT THE LIVING HELL OUT OF HIM?
I’m not accusing cops of anything, but after watching tons of reports of things like this, the guy when surrounded usually offs himself.
In a way, it’s kind of Timothy McVeigh like, I always thought there was something more to that.
This dude wasn’t normal. But I’m not sure I would call him crazy. Good chance he woke up this morning and couldn’t remember a single damn thing.

One statement said Holmes bought a ticket, went inside, then went out (rigging door so he could get back) and came back in with gear and guns.
Racer,
When I was a pup I went to the movies and if someone knocked on the emergency exit someone would always open it and a few would sneak in to watch the movie.
NOT kill the theater goers,
When I heard of someone opening the emergency exit I thought that would not necessarily put the door opener as an accomplise.
yoem lee is also a medical student in Colorado
The company he bought stuff from said he bought a “Blackhawk urban assault vest” for $107.

This is not body armor. Its the equivalent of a fisherman’s vest but made for gun owners used to store ammo and other gear. It offers no protection. Well, it would stop a paint ball or an airsoft pellet.
So far there is no evidence he had a bulletproof vest. If some people in the theater had had guns, Holmes might be dead right now. “No gun zone” strikes again!
They never seem to find the undercover federal agent who initiates these things.
See my post #117. It is not body armor. Fancy name for a shooters vest. Read the description of it.
