BOSTON The mayor of Boston is vowing to block Chick-fil-A from opening a restaurant in the city after the company's president spoke out publicly against gay marriage.

“So Boston hates Christians and Jews?”
THIS IS ABT SOUTHERNERS. YOU WANT TO HEAR SOME SCATHING REMARKS ABOUT THE SOUTH, GO TO “NEW” ENGLAND. NEW ENGLAND...SAME AS THE OLD ENGLAND...LOOK PROGRESSIVE, CLOSET BIGOTRY IS THE RULE, NOT THE EXCEPTION. TUNE IN A RED SOX GAME AT FENWAY AND COUNT THE BLACKS IN THE CROWD. AND IT IS NOT BECAUSE THEY TOO POOR.
You are welcome! I think you will find Chick-fil-A a good place to eat. At least, you can try our Southern iced tea now. Smile. Hope that it will add okra to its menu!
Yeah that’s right Mr. Mayor. Do whatever you can to keep jobs from coming to your city. Whatadumbazz!
It’s a shakedown game played by the gay activists. Chick-Fil-A is basically minding its own business, selling chicken, while innocuously and gently expressing its Christian beliefs, and the gays decide they’ve found a new target. They go and ask them to become vocals supporters of the gay agenda, and they politely decline. And suddenly, the left has a new company to hate and protest. I’ve encountered several people recently who utterly despise CFA for their politics—politics which they only expressed when asked, “Do you support us or do we mount a campaign?” So far, they’ve held tight. I just got back from there for the second time this week.
On the other side of the coin, there seems to be a Chick Fil A Buy-Cot going on in our town. I went there tonight and the lines were out the door.
” Smile. Hope that it will add okra to its menu!”

You mean there really is something called “okra”? I thought it was just a crossword puzzle word.
(Kidding,of course)
BUMP!
If there was a CFA locally I’d go there as I buy fast food several times a week(usually from the value menu).
Obama is rebuilding this country into a feudal state. He himself would be the king, of course. But lesser lords, fully subservient to Obama, will be given similar absolute power over their regions. Feudalism worked for thousands of years, why not to go back to it? /s
This is quite obvious since Obama legislates from his office already by ignoring existing laws and enforcing arbitrary rules of his own invention. The Congress is silent. The Supreme Court is instructed to not interfere. The tame, bureaucratic military will not do anything. All the effective power is now in the hands of the President. This is also the point from which absolute monarchs begin their downfall. How soon The People will start seeking foreign support? And who will provide such support?
Chick-Fil-A should present the mayor a challenge. If he can pronounce the name of the company correctly four times in a row, then they will leave. Mumbles would have no chance.
I can relate being a conservative in New York State. Although I don’t live in the cesspool of liberalism known as NYC and it’s environs I do live in it’s liberal cousin Buffalo, over on the West Side of the state. Hard headed democrats who vote party over religion, there are many Catholics here. It is frustrating. The letters to the editor of the local fish wrap, The Buffalo Snews is enough to make one want to move, which I would if I could. It’s a long story.
Oh good, I guess this means we can now enact bans on atheists, sexual perverts, and any other group we feel like banning.
It is really good. Better chicken than other fast-food places.
” Hope that it will add okra to its menu!
I love okra! Wish I could buy a squeeze bottle of the slime to put on burgers!
“To sum up: Mayor demands food company tolerates butt sex.”
Mayor demands food company consider butt sex a sacrament.
How’s that for tolerance and freedom?
Chick -Fil-A can hire Bobby Valentine to cook at the Boston store...lol
“...it can be tough on FR”
At least you’re not in Ithaca!

It sounds like a restraint of trade suit for having an opinion to me.
Comments like yours put it all into perspective. Let’s call it what it is. . . too many lipsticks on pigs these days.
