Was there a thread just 4 years ago entitled, “RIP: United States of America” on FreeRepublic.com? Unbelievable what has happened in under 4 years.
There are too many people in this country whose allegiance lies elsewhere. Most Hispanics, for example, and there are many. The government will use them against us. 0bama already is, with his grand amnesty plan aimed at providing free health care and other services for them, while smothering us. Mexicans are familiar with corruption, so life under our government.. It’s a match made in heaven!
America is dead and gone. The final nail in the coffin was the 2008 election of an African communist as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. I hate to break this to you, buckeye, but theres no point hanging onto the past.
America had a great run. Remember it fondly for what it was.
The United States of America is now little more than a big land mass populated by cretins and parasites who have absolutely no respect for the military and who vote for big government to confiscate money from their neighbors and redistribute it to them in exchange for their votes. It is not an America worth defending anymore. That America no longer exists.
The parasites outnumber the hosts now, and theres no going back. The Democrats have won. Throw some cold water in your face and figure out how to grab every government dime you possibly can before the parasites gobble it all up. Every man for himself. Good luck, everybody.

I am truly physically ill from the UnConstitutional ruling last Thursday. Can we resurrect the once Great USA?
There *is* something we can do about that. A *constitutional amendment* may be necessary to abolish this SCOTUS newly endorsed penalty tax. It should also prohibit the Congress from using any penalty tax to coerce any activity or non-activity. It may even be necessary to more clearly define the original constitutional limits on the taxing powers of Congress.
Conservatives definitely think that this penalty tax is an assault on freedom. And I think liberals will be scared of it too when they no longer control the Senate and White House in 2013 (I hope!). I wouldnt worry too much about inaction by weak-kneed Boehner and Mitchell. With a new Republican president and a bunch of new Tea Party senators and representatives, they *will* work on passing this amendment. Or, if necessary, a majority of states can call for a constitutional convention to pass this amendment. Thats another reason to cast your vote for conservatives this November and every other election all the way up and down the ticket from your local dog catcher to president.
It might also be a good time to fix some other supposed vagueness in the US Constitution, like:
the right of the *people* to keep and bear arms, as well as a well regulated Militia;
abolishing the idea of anchor babies. Only children born of legal US citizens can automatically be granted US citizenship;
to qualify for the office of president, the person must have both parents be US citizens.
Just posting this for future reference, as yet another intriguing time/date pattern-picture.

The electors sign[ed], seal[ed] and certify[-ied] packages of electoral votes and immediately send [sent] one set of votes to the President of the Senate and two sets to the Archivist. The Federal Register preserves one archival set and holds the reserve set subject to the call of the President of the Senate to replace missing or incomplete electoral votes.
The statutory deadline for the designated Federal and State officials to receive the electoral votes is December 24, 2008. Because of the very short time between the meetings of the electors in the States on December 15 and the December 24 statutory deadline, followed closely by the counting of electoral votes in Congress on January 6, 2009, it is imperative that the Certificates be mailed as soon as possible.
We strongly recommend that the sealed pairs of Certificates be taken to the Post Office on December 15, or no later than the morning of December 16, to minimize delays that could occur during the holiday mail season. Some States may find it useful to alert their local Postmaster to the extraordinarily important nature of the mailing. When the paired Certificates of Vote and Certificates of Ascertainment have been delivered to the designated Federal and State officials, the States' Electoral College duties are complete.
