Rep. Darrell Issa threw down the gauntlet to President Obama in a letter to the president that accuses him of being involved in the Fast and Furious operation.
The Hill:
Issa took issue with Obama's assertion of executive privilege over a cache of documents at the Department of Justice - including a February 2011 letter later withdrawn by the agency - that Issa believes includes information on Holder's role in Fast and Furious.
"Either you or your most senior advisers were involved in managing Operation Fast and Furious and the fallout from it, including the false Feb. 4, 2011 letter provided by the attorney general to the committee," Issa wrote to Obama. "Or, you are asserting a presidential power that you know to be unjustified solely for the purpose of further obstructing a congressional investigation."

Kicking Obama’s butt ping!
Great letter.
Never happen.
Pulitzer Prizes are awarded by Columbia University - where Obozo once studied and they are heavily invested in him.
Nobody would ever win a prize for any journalism that hurt 'the won'.
Since Obama has already said he has eaten dog meat...I stand by my question for frogjerk.
From the CBS news info that you linked: “The Justice Department disputes that, and says approving the wiretap applications doesn’t mean Breuer actually read the applications or was aware of the tactics of letting guns walk.”
I’ve seen this before but it bears repeating. Just because the wiretaps were approved doesn’t mean they were read.
That is a blatant violation of the Constitution. And if you think it only happend “this time” then I’ve got a nice piece of ocean front property in Arizona to sell you.
BTW, how many search warrents to Judges approve without reading them?
An admission like this and nobody seems to give a damn.
I postulated last week that he already had them ALL.

For those of us who read people’s faces for a living, that snapshot of Issa is pricelessly rich in detail.
Why try to hide something, if there is nothing to hide.
It’s very much like a judge once said about an accused invoking 5th Amendment protections in court:
“1: The person exercising their rights under the 5th Amendment has the absolute Constitutional right to do so.
2: The jury will be instructed as to that right and told that they must not, in any way, hold the exercising of that right that against the person doing so.
3: Back in the jury room, regardless of the instruction shown in #2, most jury members thinking someone “taking the 5th” is guilty as hell, otherwise, why not answer the questions?!?!”
So it it with Obama. Regardless of whether or not the claim of Executive Privilege is upheld, most Americans will think Obama has something to hide.
Not sure if that is the same palm tree in the background Timmy Russert
interviewed years ago on Meet the DePressed.. if so, it's moved up in the world.
How dare Issa accuse the Magic Negro (per LA Times).
Eric Jolder
So what is the result of this assumed contempt vote? That’s good, but justice requires someone to be punished, not just disciplined.
Holder must have some serious dirt on 0bama because something’s preventing 0bama from throwing Holder under the bus.
Just like Clinton told Morris, "we just have to win this."
The criminal offense of "contempt of Congress" sets the penalty at not less than one month nor more than twelve months in jail and a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000.
How fast will Jose Jallpeno’s face be replaced with Holder’s? Pretty quickly, I imagine.
Holder was, more than likely, acting under direct orders from Idi Obama.
After Holder's past actions with regard to "gun control" and his statements regarding the same: Eric Holder in 1995: We have to brainwash people against guns. Holder probably devised the scheme using the "we can blame Bush if it blows up, cause he did something similar" and presented it to Barack "He Who Cannot Be Blamed" and received the "Screw the Constitution" seal of approval from his Assholiness..
