Rush Limbaugh said on Tuesday he’s “scared” of the Obama administration for its opposition to Arizona’s immigration policy, and he accused the president of wanting illegal immigrants to enter the United States so they can be “converted” into voters before Election Day.

“I am sitting here, my mouth agape, wide open, in stunned disbelief,” the conservative radio host said. “I shouldn’t be surprised, but nevertheless I am. And I’m scared. I am scared of what these people are doing to this country.”

Limbaugh was responding to the administration’s decision Monday to revoke its so-called 287(g) agreements with Arizona law enforcement agencies — a partnership with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement that gives local officers the power to enforce federal immigration laws.

The move came hours after the Supreme Court upheld the “show me your papers” provision of the state’s controversial S.B. 1070 immigration law and infuriated the state’s Republican Gov. Jan Brewer, who accused the Obama administration of telling Arizona to “drop dead.”

“The Democrat Party — losing traditional American voters in droves, left and right — needs as many foreign citizens and illegal immigrants to come into this country as possible to be converted into voters,” Limbaugh continued, according to a transcript of his show. “He’s written off white, working families. He’s now written off the state of Arizona. Arizona was a state that was in play.…Well, not any longer.”

I turned on Rush today on the way home from the PO and he was talking about OBooboo grabbing power etc and then he said “what if Obama cancels the election?” I almost fell out of the car. He followed up with “Yes we are not in denial here”. I could not believe my ears. He never talks like that.

Arizona was never in play

That tells me he plans on staying in the WH by some other means besides winning an election. He has not pandered at all to the American people NOT once has he ever done ANYTHING for the American people (except for a small minority of far leftists)

Arizona is the perfect place for Obama to ignite his civil rights for Hispanics campaign for another reason, too. Mesa, AZ, which borders Phoenix, has the largest population of Mormons outside of Salt Lake City.

What Obama doesn’t recognize is that the majority of the crimes committed by the illegal gang members are committed against other Hispanics. The kidnappings and drive-by shootings are aimed mostly at other Hispanics.

My son lives down there and right on his block, they have had a drive-by shooting, and a swat team raid for drugs.

Rush also loves America. I give Rush a pass. He's a private citizen and not a Constitutional Scholar. His job is to entertain, give us the news without the liberal slant and make sure the democrats lose elections.

He was just making the point that when Obama refuses to enforce the law on one issue (immigration) and gets away with it, what’s to stop him from doing anything, including refusing to enforce the law on holding elections.

I can see it already: Obama has just declared that the country will forgo elections this year, and he has graciously agreed to be “Ruler” for the forseeable future. I imagine that there would be another highly effective, “sternly worded statement” from the Republican leadership expressing their “unhappiness” with Obama’s decision.

You can tell he's been threatened about that subject. They way he VERY CAREFULLY parses his words whenever he does bring it up. It can never be the subject, only an incidental joke, and he's still nervous while doing it.

I love Rush! He has done more for the conservative movement even beyond Reagan. He woke up millions to the truths when bold faced lies were on TV every night. He singlehandedly kept the conservative movement alive when many just wanted to fold and walk away. He is the guiding light. He isn’t perfect, has motives that sometimes seem odd, and his personal life isn’t one I would want (outside of that jet!), but he is the standard bearer of conservatism. His voice does more to drive liberals insane than all other insanities combined.

It was around Christmas Time of 2000 when President Clinton offered to stay on as President beyond Jan 20th if it were not yet clear who would be the next President. It was during the post election 2000 fiasco.

Most FReepers have been 'scared' of the Obama administration since he took office in January, 2009 because we know who he really is and what his goals are. It's painfully obvious by now that they are definitely not compatible with the America we all know and love. Barack Hussein Obama is, for all intents, a foreigner with a Marxist-based political ideology. He sneers at the concept of American exceptionalism. Because Obama views most of the world's problems as stemming from American's economic and military power he is working hard to weaken our economy and the will of the majority of Americans to keep their God-given freedoms our incomparable Constitution recognizes and affirms.

That his job approval numbers aren't in the low 20's by now is both amazing and a bit frightening. That Obama is already dropping his mask of 'moderate Democrat' is also both revealing and worrisome. Obama has attempted to undermine our nation, mostly through his destructive economic policies. yet he lies his face off about everything and with the media cheer-leading for his re-election (he hopes) he'll be able to fool enough voters to be re-elected so he can then pull out all the stops and do so much damage to America and it's people that we may never be able to undo it, no matter who is elected president or how many conservative Republicans we send to the House and senate.

I like Rush and find his commentary enlightening but I'm not waiting for El Rushbo - with his millions and likely well-conceived getaway plan - to tell me when to panic. I'll do that on my own, thanks. Not yet - but it's a long summer and the election is over 4 months away. Anything could happen - and might, including a declaration of martial law and suspended elections by our 'historic' president. Committed Marxist ideologues such as Obama and his henchmen don't give up power without a fight. Then again, committed American patriots won't give up their freedom and march silently into that Marxist good night, either. As I've stated, it may be a long summer.

The only bright light on the horizon is that as Obama keeps showing his true intents for America, citizens are slowly waking up and coming, often reluctantly, to the inescapable conclusion that they made a huge mistake by giving Barack Hussein Obama the presidency and that he has done nothing close to what he promised. Even the vaunted Obama 'likeability' factor is slipping away as America's First Black President shows his true self, albeit incrementally. That, the rotten economy and Obama's steady stream of power grabs will eventually collapse his ability to be re-elected. The reason why I'm concerned is not knowing exactly how this America-hater will react - and how he'll use his power as president - once he realizes that he won't be re-elected. That may be the time to panic.

It’s probably best at this point just to get him voted out and put an asterisk next to his presidency.
