You can tell he's been threatened about that subject. They way he VERY CAREFULLY parses his words whenever he does bring it up. It can never be the subject, only an incidental joke, and he's still nervous while doing it.

At this point, the upheaval and unrest and just absolute mess of “undoing” everything he’s done, if shown to be ineligible, would be beyond belief.
It’s probably best at this point just to get him voted out and put an asterisk next to his presidency.
