“I used to think that was crazy talk, but he keeps pushing the edge of the unconstitutional envelope and the Republicans don’t even say ‘boo’ to him.”

Yeah. Obama probably wonders, “Who is gonna stop me? Boehner? McConnel? I think not.”

I can see it already: Obama has just declared that the country will forgo elections this year, and he has graciously agreed to be “Ruler” for the forseeable future. I imagine that there would be another highly effective, “sternly worded statement” from the Republican leadership expressing their “unhappiness” with Obama’s decision.

Yikes.

It was around Christmas Time of 2000 when President Clinton offered to stay on as President beyond Jan 20th if it were not yet clear who would be the next President. It was during the post election 2000 fiasco.

It's not something that could never happen.

It would definitely be a “teachable moment” for white Americans...

Those of us that were observant in 2008 knew this could happen and it is still a possibility. He is lined up to get creamed in November and they need to get everything done NOW because there will be chaos and turmoil between the time he loses and the time we have to send in the regulars to kick him out.

He believes his power is supreme and he will do whatever he can to get what he wants. They are on the verge of an epic loss that will sink the democrat party into generational minority status and it will push them farther and farther left. The decision, if it goes against him, will make yesterday’s temper tantrum look like a church party.

Those of us that would not dirty their hands by using it to vote for McCain should take a long hard look in the mirror. Those thinking of a protest vote should look back in history as to what good a protest vote does.

I fear that the United States might not be so united on Friday as they are today.
