I am registered, as much good as it does me. So far as I can tell, my choices are Bad and Worse for the Federal elections.

As a California resident I did a dry run for November and for the first time in my voting life did not vote. California now has an open primary so the top two vote getters go on to November that means November your choice will be between democrats. As to the presidential election. I am done voting lesser evils. If its evil I will no longer give it my vote. Romney and Obama are both evil.

Vote for Romney, even if it means holding your nose in the election booth.

Here’s the email I sent out to my email lists this morning:

Valuable “Look-Up” !! USE IT

Spread this as far and wide as you can:

“This right to vote is the basic right without which all others are meaningless. It gives people people as individuals control over their own destinies” - LBJ

FIRST OFF: As you know, many people don’t want to register to vote because they are afraid they will be called for “jury duty”. Disabuse them of that misconception right now!

If you sign up to vote, will you get called for jury duty?
http://www.sa.ucsb.edu/voterreg/

The court draws names from many sources, including the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). An individual is more likely to be called for jury duty because of possessing a driver’s license than because of registering to vote.

So THAT excuse “don’t hunt”.

In light of the above FACT, don’t be afraid to use this valuable “LOOK-UP” tool to register to vote ONLINE yourself (if you’re not registered) ...AND... to find out if any of your family, friends and acquaintances are, or are not registered to vote.

Fill in their names and find out if they’re registered to vote. If you find that any of the people in your circle of influence are NOT registered to vote, just forward the online form to them and ask them to register ONLINE.

HERE: http://www.wallbuilders.com/vote/

Fact: 14 million Americans THINK they’re registered to vote, but they’re not. That’s 33 million people! Help them find out for sure.

This is going to be THE MOST IMPORTANT presidential election in our life-time.

And you know it. Don’t be a coward cringing in the corner hoping the alligators will eat you last.

Have the COURAGE to step outside of your comfort zone.

You MUST do your part to see to it that Obama loses in the largest landslide in history.

There is no acceptable excuse for complacency, and hoping that others will do the heavy lifting for you. (”Heavy lifting” goes far beyond forwarding political email messages around.)

YOU are accountable as an American citizen to go above and beyond your civic duty to vote. These are perilous times requiring HEROIC ACTION.

You ARE up to it!

~ [Matchett-PI]

PS:

Craig’s List Ad:

For Sale:

FIFTY YEAR OLD MANURE SPREADER - $1.00

Fifty-year old manure spreader. Not sure of brand. Said to have been produced in Kenya. Used for a few years in Indonesia before being smuggled into the US via Hawaii. Of questionable pedigree. Does not appear to have ever been worked hard. Apparently it was pampered by various owners over the years.

It doesn’t work very often, but when it does it can really sling the shit for amazing distances. I am hoping to retire the manure spreader next November.

I really don’t want it hanging around getting in the way. I would prefer a foreign buyer to relocate the manure spreader out of the country. I would be willing to trade it for a nicely framed copy of the United States Constitution.

Location:

Currently being stored in a big white house in Washington , D.C.

Texas Voters can go the following Texas Secretary of State
website and check their voter registration. To confirm your
voter registration status, you may select one of three methods: search by:
1. your Texas driver's license number, if you provided it when
you applied for voter registration;
2. your Voter Unique Identifier (VUID), which appears on
your voter registration certificate; or
3. your first and last name.

I regularly talk to two blowhards near my block who constantly moan on about how bad everything is and claim they’re registered to vote. But they’re not, as one day before the election they knew nothing about what was on the ballot, nor where their polling place was. Perhaps it’s just as well.

DO NOT TRUST THAT SITE.

I just went there and it said my dead father and another person who I know that should not be registered WERE REGISTERED. I then went to OUR STATES OFFICIAL site AND THEY ARE NOT REGISTERED.

Hello my Fellow Stupid Oregonians & Californians! Did ya vote???

I did my civic duty, voted in the California primary....which is less than worthless! I’m 64 years old, voted in every primary and not once has my vote counted in picking the president of the United States! In Calif and Oregon, the two states I have voted in , the candidate is already picked by a few other ...states who vote long before any of us and pick our candidate with NO input from us.

Calif has 17.2 registered voters.
Oregon has 2.8 million registered voters.

20 Million voters, whose vote doesn’t matter one bit for choosing a president who is going to represent us all! If this were any other nation, the UN blue helmets would be demanding equal voting rights for 20 million disenfranchised voters who have NO SAY WHATEVER in picking the president of the United States! The primary is the only race that matters, because the damage is done by general election time. I mean, look at this choice we’re settling for!
Why we sit here, election after election running to the poll to cast a vote that won’t matter because a couple states on the East Coast have decided their votes will pick the candidate, NOT OURS, just beyond me!
If there were ever a reason to take to the streets and scream discrimination because of geographic location, this is IT! For the life of me, I can’t understand why this farce doesn’t upset the rest of you.

The only upside is that all those illegal aliens votes in California and Oregon won’t matter either!!!! In fact, those illegal aliens who voted illegally in the early states actually had something to say about who is going to be president, but YOU didn’t!

14% of Americans think they are registered to vote, but they're not!

Well, the real question is how many people don't think that they're registered to vote, but really are... by someone who isn't them?

How evil does a candidate in a general need to get before being passed up even if the least bad viable choice... and why?

I see a lot of knee jerking going on by characters who were not even able to agree on ONE viable rival to the Mittster when it counted, in the primaries. Herd of cats.

By the way why wasn’t there even something like this at the time of the primaries?

This site is pure B.S. Says I’m not registered as I sit here looking at my NEW card, (I moved this year to the next town over). Says my father is registered, he lives in a different city in the same county as I and he’s Sr. to me being Jr. of course. Strange.....

Thanks for posting this. I would caution that the information may be a few months behind.

Mr. RightField and I registered to vote in Florida this past March, having moved from California last year. We don't show up yet in a search of Florida, and we are still shown as registered in CA.

We will be sending notification to CA this week that we are no longer CA residents. In CA, no ID is required to vote or register to vote. If your name is on the list at the polling place, you are allowed to vote. It would be so easy for someone to vote in our names in CA.
