John Travolta's 'inappropriate behavior' got him tossed from Peninsula Hotel's massage spa: staff Travoltas stay on the blacklist was about three years, and followed a complaint to the hotels bosses, said Michael Caputo, a one-time Peninsula masseur
Staff at the swank Peninsula Hotel claimed John Travolta was banned after several creepy run-ins with the spas male employees.
But the temporary ban in the early 2000s was eventually lifted and the Pulp Fiction star was welcomed back, says a former staff member.
Travolta was banished to the Fifth Ave. hotels no-thigh zone after his inappropriate antics led to an insurrection, said Michael Caputo, a one-time Peninsula masseur.
Travolta would always request a man for his massage, but after a while no one would take him because of his inappropriate behavior, Caputo said.
It got to the point where they couldnt find any men to take him, and they had to ban him, recalled the masseur known as Magic Mike, who claimed he worked at the Peninsula from 1992-2008.

I’m the same age as Tom Cruise and I always wondered how that guy got movie parts right out of High school. I mean *right* out of High school, with absolutely no experience whatsoever. As soon as he graduated in 1980 (same year as me) *bam* he got a part in the movie Endless love with absolutely no connections whatsoever, right off the street, then a part in Taps. Two major flicks in one year.
That’s just unheard of, especially for a short guy like him. Not even actors who have major connections, like the Sheens, or Sean Penn whose father was a director or Nicholas Cage whose uncle was Francis Ford Coppola got *that* lucky. What always happens is wannabe actors end up waiting tables or taking some other menial job and it takes years of auditions and bit parts in commercials, TV shows. That’s the route Brad Pitt went, it took him YEARS so you can’t say it was Tom Cruises “good looks”. No, there was something else going on with this guy and I really think he did exactly what you are talking about. He did the homo deal. He probably went to an agent or casting director and was told to “perform” lol.
Is John Travolta heading for a crash landing - or is he an innocent victim of a malicious plot? THIRD man accuses star of sexual assault
Chilean-born cruise line worker Fabian Zanzi said the star stood naked in front of him and offered $12,000 (£7,000) for sex in 2009
Attorney representing the two U.S. accusers claims up to 100 other men are set to come forward with similar allegations

LOL! “Any of you homos touch me...I’ll kill ya”
I understand completely. I can have a whole body massage without expecting something else, and I would only want a woman to do it.
What I find curious is a guy who goes to get a massage expecting something else.
Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
Rub and tug, Bahbahbahrino, rub and tug, Bahbahbahrino, rub and tug, Bahbahbahrino
Are you kidding?
ZERO basically said its OK to be homosexual. . . . . .
Its OK with me as long as you and your PARTNER leave me the hell out of anything that is sexual. Unless you are two hot lesbians getting it on.
Not a problem. . . . . . .
ping for later
I didn't want to read that, but it's his word, right?
In a perverse way, there appear to be pangs of conscience over what he did, driving him to prove something, to prove that they’re no better than him, that they’ll do it for money too.
Forgive the damaged, willfully sinful men who tempted you into this, John. Forgive yourself for being weak and succumbing to the sin. Swear it off, ask for and receive His forgiveness, become a new creature in God. Lift you burden up to Him and know that there will be justice, maybe not in this world, but there will be.
Join your fellow child actor laboring alone to expose this nest of sexual predation. They’re trying to destroy you now anyway, after concealing your wrong behavior all these years. You have nothing to lose and an eternity to gain.
They complained that he was making them work their fingers to the bone.
Yeah, but those long finger nails are a pain in the as$..
Rub-a-dub-dub,
Three men in a tub,
And who do you think they be?
The butcher, the baker,
The candlestick-maker,
Or John Travolta and two male masseurs?
Really, maybe it's a statement of your health that you never had to find a male PT, but don't discount their contribution to the quality of life for others.
I agree with your suspicions. The "casting couch" has always been a part of Hollywood and always will. Casting directors hold the keys to the gates of wealth and fame beyond one's wildest dreams. It is a position of incredible power and there's a line of young, beautiful people lined up around the block who will do anything asked of them just to get their foot in the door.
I'd bet if all was revealed, we'd be shocked at the names of those who in their young and hungry days performed shameful acts that opened the doors, allowing them to become the multi-millionaires they are now. And for every A-lister, there's thousands more who performed these same shameful acts just to see their careers wither away after a handful of TV commercials and non-speaking roles in failed pilots.
Your profession is a Godsend within a sea of witch doctors who want to make a buck from surgery.
And that is perfectly fine. Your preferences count, as it is your hour, your money and your body. My husband prefers the challenge of rehab and, therefore, does very little relaxation work, per se. Of course, there is a relaxation component even in a medical massage, but it is usually a side effect.
BTW, “masseuse” is female. “Masseur” is male. Today, the preferred term is “massage therapist”.
There is more than enough work for everyone, which is why massage has developed so many different modalities. Most of the relaxation therapists will refer the medical work out and the medical practitioners will do the same for relaxation or energy work. Some women can handle the medical work, but in our area, the males almost all do deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy and sports massage and have advanced training in those areas. It is mainly a question of sustaining the practice over a long period of time. Female connective tissue begins to weaken after menopause and a lot of women retire in their early 50s or switch to energy work. My husband works on many of the female therapists in our area. My own hands gave out at 63, when I retired from actual practice.
It was flacid before it was soft.....
