#28 - thanks for sharing. Never underestimate the quality of life that you restore to people. I have many family members and friends with severe life altering injuries where the pain in some cases can be minimized via deep tissue therapy and other techniques. TENS type treatments have helped but mostly DTT.

Your profession is a Godsend within a sea of witch doctors who want to make a buck from surgery.

Yep, that is absolutely true.

The prognosis for surgery is not great, considering that you have already had the structure changed beyond any chance for ever going back. For myself, I would always prefer to keep utilizing soft tissue work and consider surgery a very last resort.

Then, there is the consideration of long term drug usage. As one of our referring docs says: “All drugs are poisons with beneficial side effects, which is why they should be used sparingly.”
