This is the ultimate in narcissism. Obama, commenting upon his sudden public approval of gay marriage, was just shown stating that he couldn't stand the idea of soldiers and sailors out there fighting on HIS behalf when they were not free to be in gay relationships.
Forget the gay marriage issue. Our military is fighting on HIS behalf?
OH GREAT DEAR LEADER,
How I hope that my soldier hubby gets the honor and privilege of going off to fight for your honor again. And maybe he will even be able to come home gay.
UGH!!!!
What a pompous something or other (I need to be awake longer before I can come up with better insults).
Indeed it does and it reeks of the scent of troll.
You’re right.
A President might say “fighting on OUR behalf” as a shortcut way of referring to the American people.
But he’s the CinC who orders the troops into war: he absolutely can’t say “fighting on MY behalf” without being revealed as the worst kind of tone-deaf malignant narcissist.
Mindset of an African dictator.
Guess he missed the part that our armed forces are called the US military, not the obama military.
Obama is a dictator. And those who voted for him last time in 2008, need to vote against him!
This article historically explains just WHO Obama and his movement truly are!
Good Read:

But Mr. Obama actually did bare his soul unintentionally today (perhaps the Biden disease is catching) with his astonishing characterization of American fighting men and women, whom he referred to as those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf. Really?
Most Americans thought they were fighting for the country, not on Barack Obamas behalf. Slip of the tongue, to be sure, but can one think of another president whod have made it? They are fighting under his command, under his orders, to be sure, but this particular locution is offensive and solipsistic. Mr. Obama has switched his position on the sanctity of marriage back and forth and has a new one, again, today, revealed when politics made that advisable to him and to his campaign. Whether this is the end or he will evolve some more is anyones guess.
But lets leave our soldiers out of this. They arent fighting for Mr. Obama and his campaign, and no one sent them out to risk their lives to win same sex marriage.

Its all about me.....>>>>>>>>>>>
Segue on the confused mind of failure, its all about me.
Really its all about exchanging ME for YOU! A secret Obama has never discovered, and likely will NEVER discover, as a narcist.
What about me:( futility of Obama)

And we civilians thank you very much for protecting and defending our Constitution when your CinC would throw it right under the bus, the pink bus.
I am so close to praying for the military to march on D.C. and rid America of this Marxist usurper who is illegally occupying the office of the Presidency.
The military swear alligience to the Office of the President
not to the political person who happens to be President.
We cannot adequately express our gratitude to you. Thank you for your Honorable and Dedicated service to the United States.
God bless you.
Thank you for your service as well. I remember what the 101st did at Bastogne and in the Ahe Shau valley as well. Peace Brother.
Best regards to you, as well. Stay safe, brother.
The military DO NOT swear allegiance to the Office of the President. We swore allegiance to the United States and agreed to follow the orders of “those appointed over us.” The word “president” appears nowhere in the oath.
"I swear by almighty God this sacred oath: I will render unconditional obedience to the Fuehrer of the German Reich and people, Adolf Hitler, Supreme Commander of the Wehrmacht, and, as a brave soldier, I will be ready at any time to stake my life for this oath."
I guess we all pick up a word or two here and there. Heck, I took Spanish in high school. Can’t speak that either. lol
That is excellent! Bookmarked and sent out to the e-mail list. 0bungles only thought about something like that would be “how can I use that to promote me?”
“the first gay superpower since Sparta”
That was from Mark Steyn. The rest of my rant was in my own words and was heartfelt.
I really thought “the 300” was a silly movie. I just don’t care for the “comic book” movie genre. But I realize that the event was “real” history, which tends to be exaggerated by those who write it (the victors).
