The Insanity of Being Human (LazVanity)
May 7, 2012 | by Lazamataz

Posted on 05/07/2012 6:07:42 AM PDT by Lazamataz

Cats are genetically wired to behave in ways that humans see as insane. They often torment and play with their prey, for example, in a manner that we would call 'sadistic'. Sadism, to humans, is not a sane characteristic.

Sometimes it seems that humans are also genetically wired to behave insanely. Let us look at the votes recently taken in Greece, France, and Germany. In all three cases, the concept of austerity (read: fiscal responsibility) has been completely rejected by their populations. In one case, France, the populace actually elected a labeled Socialist.

The financial systems of most of Europe are in near-collapse and the only thing that might have saved them from ruin was fiscal responsibility. Yet the people voted against it, so that they may have a few more weeks of government cheese and 32-hour work-weeks. The Europeans, in a collective rebellion against that which exists, threw off the shackles of reality, and slipped from under the yoke of truth.

To deny reality, and proceed apace in a destructive fashion, is insanity.

The reality of the situation is that Europe will eventually -- and quickly! -- be subject to the laws of economics. In a very short time-frame, the system will collapse in its entirety. At that point, ANY paper currency will be meaningless, and the insane actions of the Europeans will ultimately be at fault. Once paper currency, of any nationality and of any denomination, becomes worthless, chaos will result. From the fires of chaos, World Wars are born.

The shortsightedness of a selfish public, who is unwilling to face the harsh truths, is a worldwide phenomenon. It is as if the entire world decided to embark on a worldwide Argentinian experiment -- in which their currency collapsed -- and will probably concluding with Zimbabwean results.

It appears that the solution, albeit one impossible to forestall this collapse, is decidedly local. It is inside one’s self. To become less selfish, to become a person of character, to think of serving others before you serve yourself: These are the character traits that would have prompted people to have voted for fiscal responsibility in Europe, instead of the few remaining months of government largesse.

Tough times create tough and selfless people. Soft times create a soft and selfish people. The soft and the amoral have spoken. The collapse will proceed. The suffering and bloodshed that will result will be Biblical. One hopes that the result, a generation from now, is a tougher and more moral people.

Anything else would be insanity.

Well done Laz.
When people are conditioned to vote in only their
own interests the results are not long in coming.

“Tormenting” your prey is a means of tiring it prior to the kill. It will actually make the final throes less likely to injure the predator. Violent struggle will be less likely to result in freedom or escape if one has been well worn down prior to collapse. It is neither insanity nor sadistic to defer the “kill” attack until your “prey” is exhausted. It is also practice and it is more likely to result in a win.
Conservatives and Capitalism are being hunted as we speak in this very manner.
The goal of anarchists is to wear down those who uphold higher values in the same way hyenas will bring down lions and even elephants.
Do not mistake their motivation as insanity.
“Insanity is relative. It depends on who has who locked in what cage.”

Great essay, Laz.

The rebellion is not going to end in anything but enslavement to the NWO.

We need to work harder than ever to remind Americans we have a third way the Europeans do not. Restore the constitution and dissolve foreign entanglements and the UN.

Globalism is an economic engine with all the cars of Nation states attached. It’s derailing and will take all the cars with it. We need to unhitch our car before we end up in the pile of wreckage. Without our military, the NWO is up the creek.

Put me on your ping list. :)

Please add me to your Laz editorial ping list.

They want to self-immolate, and self-immolate they will. Since Europe is now the Euro-zone, they are like climbers on a rock face, all tied together. If only one falls, the others might be able to hold him up. But there are too many falling now. Even the not-so-bad-off countries cannot escape the contagion.

Your solution is the only one that will work; even great and responsbible leaders cannot change a population the majority of which is criminally irresponsible and immoral people. For instance, in Greece people such as rapists, pedophiles, those who expose themselves, kleptomaniacs, arsonists and a few more I can’t remember get “disability” for such “ailments”. Recently an article described a new mayor of a small Greek island found that a huge percentage of the population was receiving welfare benefits for blindness - was it 10%? Can’t remember the exact number. Turns out the vast majority were not blind at all, in fact they pelted him with eggs when he cut them off. Guess they could see well enough to throw stuff at him.

The law of karma is inexorable - aka as “as you sow, so shall you reap”. There have been vast numbers of nasty poisonous weed seeds planted, and they must grow to fruition, by nature’s law.

I realized this morning that crazy has reached the point of no return.

I'm pretty sure that 'point' was actually reached in 1971 after this guy appeared on LAUGH-IN and his rendition of 'Tip toe through the tulips" made it to the TOP TEN LIST on radio.

I am still a satisfied customer.

I am also well-armed and ammo-ed (not a word) American.

I am satified with that too, although my husband thinks I went overboard on it.

Speaking of overboard, I will soon have an unfortunate boating incident where the afore mentioned guns and ammo will accidentally drop to the bottom of the nearest lake whilst I am fishing.

Good Day, Laz! Nice writing. Do some more soon.

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important.

Another way to look at this is to recognize that wanting to "feel important," is needing to be in control, wanting to play God: The unforgivable sin. It's why Lucifer was dispatched from the sight of his maker, to earth, where he is constantly trying to win all of God's children to his dark and destructive reality.

Interesting discussion about cats. I believe I can subscribe to that.

I don't think I can subscribe to the concept that the unwashed masses who voted out the concept of 'austerity' have this level of sophistication. I feel they are behaving insanely, because being fiscally irresponsible at this juncture will cause a total breakdown. They will have killed the Golden Egg-laying Goose.

Now, those who plot and those who politick; now THAT class, I would never ascribe to them, the term 'insanity'. To THEM, I would ascribe the term 'malice of forethought'.
