Rodney King tells TMZ ... he sincerely hopes Trayvon Martin's family will eventually get justice ... but says Trayvon's case makes him realize how lucky he was to have his beating captured on tape.
Just days before the 20 year anniversary of the L.A. riots, King was in NYC promoting his new book in which he describes his journey through the violence ... from the infamous beating at the hands of LAPD officers ... to his public plea for peace.
"It's not one day that goes by that I don't think about the incident ... I get these headaches ... when I [sniff], my sinuses start burning."
Now, with the Trayvon Martin case stirring up similar emotions as his legal saga ... King says the judicial system is a "slow process" .... and adds, "I'm hoping he gets justice for his family ... 'cause he's no longer here, so for his family."

Trayvon already got justice. Just what is he hoping will happen to the family?

But the part where King was not responding to the cops’ orders to comply was not shown. Only the beat down part. No different than the Martin case of media malfeasance.

The rest of the tape shows you resisting arrest in spite of humane efforts to bring your sorry rear end under control.
Had you just obeyed one simple command, 58 people would not have died in 1992.Reginald Denny would not have had his head bashed in with a cinder block.

There are untold stories about Rodney King.
One important fact seldom spoken of is that he was leading police on a high speed chase that night. The MSM said he was a “motorist” pulled over by cops. The clear implication is that it was a routine traffic stop.
He was leading police on a high speed chase that night because he was fleeing a crime scene, from which he was a prime suspect.
He was repeatedly beaten by the cops with nightsticks because less violent methods of subduing him were not working. He was resisting arrest that night. The cops think he was high on drugs, because less violent methods of getting him under control were not working.
Can anybody tell us why these stories about the Rodney King incident are never told? To this day, the story line is out there, that he was pulled over by cops, and beaten for no reason.

Wonder why no news outlet ever showed it on TV!

Did he blow all of his settlement money yet?
Maybe Rodney King is promoting his book because his settlement is running out?
Or maybe he threw something together and wanted to capitalize on the Trayvon Martin case, and remind people that he had his famous liberal cause celebre years ago.
I don’t want to read his book. I have no interest in what he has to say.
