Mark Levin: The Senate GOP establishment is trying to disenfranchise conservatives
Right Scoop ^ | April 18th | Mark Levin via Right Scoop

Posted on 04/21/2012 10:07:01 PM PDT by Halfmanhalfamazing

Levin talks about what he says few have the guts to talk about, and that is how the Senate GOP establishment, McConnell, is trying to minimize conservative Sen. Ron Johnson who has made it clear he isn’t in the Senate to buddy up with the leadership, but rather to represent his constituents and fight for conservatism. And on the other hand, the establishment types like McCain are teaming up with one of the go-along-to-get-along increasingly liberal senators, Dick Lugar, to help him defeat a great conservative he’s running against.

So while they claim to be conservative, what they really want more than anything are people who will do their bidding and Levin isn’t going to keep quiet about it. He explains it in full below:

And yet some of you vow to “hold your nose” and vote Romney. That is a duplicity with those that would kill Conservatism.

“The Senate GOP establishment is trying to disenfranchise conservatives”

Judging by the propaganda coming out of Fox News, it isn’t just the Senate GOP establishment- its the whole thing.

This from the man who says we must unite behind a lying, left-wing, progressive liberal like Mitt Romney.

Simply amazing.

Maybe the reason you can't get it all together in your mind is that there's not enough room.

Dern it, I need a transcript.

I don’t have time to listen to audio at a tiny fraction of the speed of reading.

This is why Romney and the GOP have to lose. We are not going to solve the overwhelming problems we face if they win. Sorry to you folks who are so damned afraid of Obama that you can’t think straight.

Rebellion is brewing! We need patriots, not pantywaists!

The problem is that the GOP has supplied a defective product for decades and we’ve done nothing about it.

Many have warned me about “third parties,” but if we approached the issue as capitalists, we would realize that our supplier consistently fails to deliver and should go out of business. We should let the GOP die and let something better fill the void.

I’ve been an anti third party guy all along, too BUT it has become evident that we are being played for fools by the GOP. That has to stop! As far as I’m concerned, the GOP is nearly as dangerous to our free republic as the Obama Democrats are. They definitely are not the solution to downsizing government and its control over our lives. The Tea Party is where we should place our efforts. The GOP elites are owed NOTHING! They can go to Hell!

You are right, simply amazing. It's getting more and more difficult to listen to some people I thought were conservative patriots, as they exercise their situational principles, and not just Levin.

Their words ring hollow.

The majority of conservatives, seriously, need to plan what to do for the long-term, when their enemies list involves: leftists (of all political parties-major political parties and minor political parties and all Independent candidates who are leftist), some moderates, some Libertarians, RINOS, Establishment Republicans, and Elitist Republicans, combined! It’s, also, important to understand that this is a world war between the political left and the political right, and this isn’t, just, a problem that’s, only, from within the U.S. and U.S. territories. Leftist politics and all of political correctness must be defeated, everywhere in the entire world, asap!

We should let the GOP die and let something better fill the void.

It is well past time for a third party. We need to run true Conservatives so that the people have a real choice. Then the Republican party will "die" and we Conservatives will "live".

Could never understand why Conservatives in this cycle want to prove a point to the establishment by letting BO back into office? Furthermore, why compare the national race with state specific races where the ability to coalesce behind strong, conservative candidates is much easier?

In this cycle, standing on principle in the presidential vote yields the strong possibility of three Kagan-like hacks finding their way on to the court in the next four years. The negative consequences of such would last decades, not just until 2016.

Do I like Romney? Not at all. Would I have preferred Santorum? Most definitely.

Do I want to live through four more years of Fast & Furious, tax hikes, false budgets being sent to the Senate for planned failure so the “stimulus” money which supposed to be a one year event perpetuates, gun control, blatant racial divide, a fresh shot at amnesty, suing of states based on laws they pass that are opposed to the national mandates, planned increases in gas/oil/electricity prices? Hell no.

I cannot and and will not say that Romney is the answer and not a problem for Conservatives because of course he is, but the consequenses of four more years of BO will last far more than four more years.

Levin has it absolutely right. Control your state primaries, get the grassroot Conservatives into office so they can oust the McConnells, Boehners and Lugars instead of being ruled by them. Vote for Romney because the prospect of a left-wing packed SCOTUS with a left-wing majority Senate will kill whatever small freedoms are left in this great land.

As to a vote for Romney:

That is a duplicity with those that would kill Conservatism.

And a vote for Obama would do what? (Given that a vote for anyone, not on our ticket; is a vote for Obama.)

We can save Conservatism with a RINO president. We can save neither Conservatism - nor America - with Obama as President. Should Obama get 'four' more years; bets are on, as to how many years he stays after that. . .

Gotta go with SoConPubbie on this one. When Mark endorsed Romney (Yes, he did in the first two minutes of his show!) he became just another pimp.
I'll never waste another minute or dime on him.
