CBS News reporter Bill Plante challenged White House press secretary Jay Carney on President Obamas statement Monday that for the Supreme Court to overturn the Affordable Care Act would be an extraordinary, unprecedented step, during a Thursday press briefing.
BILL PLANTE: What he said on Monday was an obvious misspoken moment because he talked about the court not being in a position to overturn an of Congress
JAY CARNEY: Bill
PLANTE: Youre standing up there twisting yourself in knots, because he made a mistake and you cant admit it.
CARNEY: No, no, Bill, I am acknowledging thatyoure sharing in the righteous indignation here that your colleagues
PLANTE: No, Im just beingIm just noting that youre twisting yourself in knots.

It was commie Van Jones who made that remark and not Axelgrease.
That sums it up nicely and succinctly.
Video “temporarily” unavailable all morning long. Maybe CBS pulled the plug?!
I think that obamas remark two days ago is the beginning of the meltdown that will prevent him from finishing his term. It looks like Carney is telegraphing that in his last statement in the video.

I dont see that at all.
Thanks. Gotta love Holder’s parting show about the President’s comments being fully consistent with the legal precedent. Those folks never cease to amaze.
Thanks for the correction.
If I had a son he'd look like........uh, never mind.
Plante deserves no credit. He was throwing Carney a line and Carney wouldn’t take it.
I dont see that at all.
I completely understand. It is possible that I am seeing something that isn’t there. I’ve been seeing hints of it for a while, but the way he said it and the decision to say it is part of what I mean. Especially if he somehow knows that it will be thrown out. It is subtle and I could be all wet, but when I put the whole thing in context, including his mannerisms when he says it, I just think this may be the beginning of it.
And the meltdown could happen in several ways. He could try to ignore the SCOTUS, for example.
I think the word “telegraph” was wrong too. I think what I mean is that Carney was also showing the stress in the way he was addressing the MSM. It seemed almost Nixoneque.
Carney is the hawker at the “carnie” Obama Sideshow Tent featuring the stupidest, most unintelligent, inexperienced, man-boy in the room.
FUBO with malice
I am convinced that Carney and Maddow are the same people! JK, but dang do they look alike! Homo-joe and homo-josie.
Bingo!
Yea, I caught that remarks being attributed to Adolph Axelrod and not Marxist Van Jones, but it really doesn’t matter because anyone on WH side could say it and it would not raise one eyebrow in the media. So Bambi probably may as well OUT himself, and also disclose that Mooch-elle is a genetic male of the Wookie species.
I agree with you. I put huge stock in “instinct” or “sixth sense”. Keep at it.
I think many have erroneously believed the liberal propaganda, and I truly think the backlash from Obama’s comments surprised the heck out of ALL of them.
I have one correction to make - you state that kids haven’t been taught about the Constitution for decades. I graduated High School in 1990, and I had to pass a Constitution Test TWICE - once in 8th grade (to graduate and go to HS - 1986), and once again in 1989 during my Junior year we were REQUIRED to take US History and pass the “Constitution Test” with no less than 75% correct or we didn’t graduate. This was REQUIRED in the State of Illinois. I am not aware of whether this is a requirement any longer, but it was less than 22 years ago when I graduated. Beginning with my class our requirements for HS graduation had actually INCREASED in other subjects (Math, English, etc... but the Constitution requirement had been in place *forever* already).
I truly do think that the liberals and teachers have COMPLETELY underestimated the literacy and education of the average American. Granted, there are probably many more (esp. younger) people who have now read and understand the Constitution since the rise of the Tea Party, but I think the vast majority of us already knew. I hope they keep underestimating the rest of us due to their own delusions created by their propaganda - they’ve got a tiger by the tail and THINK they have a plan for the teeth, but that tiger is MUCH BIGGER AND SMARTER than it appears...
FYI Michelle Robbinson’s ancestors came from the same “Plantation” area that Jesse (Robinson) Jackson came from. His biological father was probably related as Michelle spent enough time in the JJ home baby sitting to still be called Sis by the siblings.
IOW BhO married into Chicago Royalty.
“Plante used the word misspoke hoping to offer Carney (and the President) an easy out.”
my take as well.
Thanks for the update. I did not know that but did know Michelle was close to Farakhan’s family. She is a real commie tool in her own right, and folks forget she and those impressionable kids sat through years of Rev Wright’s hate also. While I’m at it, I keep thinking about a movie called Mahogany, a Diana Ross vehicle. But her co-star Billie Dee Williams played a Chicago community organizer running for Congress. I bet O’s path was influenced by that; not by him but his Manchurian handlers (Ax? Rahm?). Check it out sometime. He likes to fancy himself as a big Chi-town tough guy, but if he had to walk the mean streets at night, he’d need to wear Depends.
