Middle School Students Forced to Support Obama Campaign

A middle school teacher in Fairfax, VA forced the students in his civics honor class to perform research on Republican presidential candidates to find their “weaknesses” The students research was then sent to the Obama campaign. The Daily Caller reported.

The 8th grade students, who attend Liberty Middle School in Fairfax County, were required to seek out the vulnerabilities of Republican presidentialhopeful and forward them to the Obama campaign. “This assignment was just creepy beyond belief — like something out of East Germany during the Cold War,” one frustrated father, who asked for his family to remain anonymous, told The Daily Caller.

I’ve seen teachers make the kids write advocacy letters to politicians for grades*, then they mail them in (at least certain ones), and later you see the pol on TV or radio saying, I’m proposing this new legislation because I have received thousands of letters from concerned children. Let me read a few...

Almost as if DNC was coordinating with the teacher unions to give the illusion of broad support and consensus.

*I know a dad who says his kid got a D for suggesting that Global Warming needed a closer look scientifically. Kids that thought it was real got A’s, even with spelign errors.

We have to call these people out, personally. It’s good to expose them. But someone has to be ‘boots on the ground’ and be confrontational. The Left, the loud irrational minority, does a good job of this - and it gives the perception that their ignorance is the status-quo. We have to “fight” (figuratively).

This incident does have a ring of a communist country to it. Where if you didn’t support the current government you would get rounded up so to prove your loyalty you had to pledge allegiance to them and help them out.
