Energy Secretary Steven Chu told a House panel Tuesday that hed give himself top marks when asked to grade his policies effects on energy prices. Rep. Darrell Issa, the chairman of the House committee on Oversight and Government Reform, asked President Obamas top energy official if hed grade himself with an A minus on controlling the cost of gasoline at the pump.
Chu responded by saying hed give himself a better grade than that.
The tools we have at our disposal are limited, but I would I say I would give myself a little higher in that since I became Secretary of Energy, Ive been doing everything I can to get long-term solutions, Chu said.
Chu would give himself the top grade on gas prices despite that fact that the average price for a gallon of gas just hit $3.87 the highest ever recorded in the month of March, according to ABC News.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Fu Chu.....
With grade inflation so rampant A is the new C.
I could add what the A stands for. How about you?
“I would give myself an A for energy prices”
Of course, he cheated on the test.
I prefer a nut in his own shell.
It’s a pass-fail question, dumbass.
This guy Chu like his boss Obama live in a green fantasy land. Their bizarre war on carbon energy sources is causing misery and impoverishing the United States.
He’s grading himself on a curve??!!?
If he was truly honest, oops did I say that about a leftist, he would give himself a C- or D+. I mean really, he is only 50% of the way to $9-10/gallon gas where these folks want it.
An A- is good for now. He wanted them as high as they pay in Europe. Though they are getting there, they haven't quite reached that level. But Obama's Energy, Interior and EPA appointees are doing what they can to make sure Chu will get that "A."
How do you deal with such arrogance? With ridicule.
Confucious say:
“Baseball rules wrong...man with 4 balls cannot walk.”
“Man who fart in church sits in own pew.”
“Never eat skittles, play leapfrog with unicorn.”
“Many men smoke—Few Man Chu.”
you knew when he arrived wearing this shirt that there might be self-esteem issues :o)
His goal is to drive up gasoline prices to European levels. He deserves an B+ for accomplishing the doubling of gas prices. I will give him an A when gas hits $8 per gallon. I hate to think about what his other goals are.
