You forgot about open versus closed primaries. We need closed primaries. I am tired of dems helping to decide our nominee.
CNN more honest discussion. Not liking it but they are more straightforward.
From Drudge:
RESULTS: TONIGHT
Trouble in Toledo: Wrong ballots distributed...
Santorum was outspent 20 to 1 plus the media had all-out war on him. He couldn’t have an interview without having to be on the defensive the entire time.
When’s the last time we saw Romney under the gun like that?
Amen to closed primaries!
I am sad about Ohio. Conservatives will never have a chance as long as they split the vote. Willard hasn’t won big, but it is still a win and the media will make it a mandate.
Wrong ballots?? Whom does that favor??
If Crazy Uncle wins Alaska, there’s something for everyone tonight.
Thanks.
I totally agree. Think what Santorum has accomplished in the face of that. As for Newt, the whole world is against him. I am surprised he is still standing.
What wrong ballots?
Krauthammer said it best just now. Outside of his home state, Gingrich went 0 for 9 tonight.
On the other hand, the Santorum/Gingrich vote combined won five states, GA, OH, ND, TN, and OK, and would probably win Alaska as well.
Put simply, either Gingrich or Santorum need to drop out and let the conservative tide wash Romney out to sea. Otherwise, we risk getting a nominee who can’t even get 50% of the Republican vote in most states.
I was for Gingrich (reluctantly) until he bombed in Florida. Then Santorum came on hard with MO, NV and MN, and now tonight hes’ doing way better than Gingrich in every state but GA, Gingrich’s home state. I honestly don’t see how Gingrich can justify staying in this, when doing so is clearly helping Romney.
And I’d say the same about Santorum, if the tables were reversed.
Ruh-roh....Romney country or Santorum territory?
He won TN but had no slate of delegates so there are probably other problems going forward.
White van!
RNC: If you can't win, cheat!
I do not know. Just happened to see it on Drudge. Have not heard any more on the news about it.
Santorum is on a Shoe string budget. Not much better state for Newt.
My money is Santorum & Newt have an agreement for a brokered convention. I think it is the best chance either of them have at denying Mitten 1144.
JMO
Yes, I just saw that! She said she voted for the cheerful one, the one who could blast through the Obama rhetoric and who had the best ideas.
Neil Cavuto was a little amazed.
Go Newt!

Exactly, and Mittens has known this all along. The conservatives are too divided to win.
Oh my God! These primaries are quite a joke. I was just getting upset seeing Romney going to first place in Ohio. When I saw you post, I thought you were being funny. I went to Drudge and it is there too. Now what on Earth are they going to do about that? Of course Fox News is not saying a word about it.
