I am sad about Ohio. Conservatives will never have a chance as long as they split the vote. Willard hasn’t won big, but it is still a win and the media will make it a mandate.

Exactly, and Mittens has known this all along. The conservatives are too divided to win.

Still, Santorum had a good night. Very solid wins in Tennessee and Oklahoma, southern states where Newt should have been more competitive. Plus Santo continues to roll in the smaller midwestern states.

Newt really can't feel very good about tonight. Third place in his own backyard in Tennessee and winning only a single county? A weak second place in Oklahoma which should also be his territory? I really don't see how he can come back after tonight.

He may stay in until next week to pick up Alabama and Mississippi. If he doesn't, he is finished. Notwithstanding that he could surprise in Alaska still. Actually, any of the four could.

Most of the Newt votes in Ohio would have gone to Santorum and it wouldn't have even been a nail biter.
